I totatally agree with you BlackBeltGirl.

My son started when he was 6 and he reached 3rd dan black belt, before the lure of girls and alcohol was stronger than going training.
But when he was training, he became British Champion and apart from competing all over this country, he also fought in Ireland, France, Germany and Singapore, so it certainly broadened his horizons!

O/h is an 8th dan blackbelt, but he has more or less retired from it now, apart from doing some occasional examining of senior ranks.

I also am a black belt, but only a 1st dan. I gave up the day I passed my black belt exam!! :o:o:o
    Now you mention it _pale_

Had a nice time at the IDH show as spent it with a dear friend and bought lots of nice bits and bobs for the garden.Saw our friend Martin:money: an he was his usual exitable self shouting at the top of his voice to get his message across.;)I enjoyed looking at the gardens and saw the presentations for this by Dermot and it was so nice to see so many youngsters interested in gardening:T Queues were too long to look at the houses so gave those a miss and the goodie bag was a bit of a disappointment. All in all it was much of a muchness with all the usual stands selling there wares;) all things we have seen before and laughing to myself coming home on the tube with peeps clutching all those gadgets that never see the light of day once they get put in the cupboard ;)But all in all a good day out with good company:T

Lilaclilie bumped my post re the IDH show sorry I overlooked your post:(

Cheers I got one pollo pizza for £1.49 and coupon scanned ok for £2.79 by sa :)
So £1.30 off rest of shopping.

Tried to use Dr O moc in Sainsbobs last week and it wouldn't scan and they wouldn't put it through manually. Today thought I'd try again and it scanned beautifully. Brandmatched vs T so paid to take it away :j
