- Transactions cancelled by you due to stock out or item sold to another buyer

How many cases though resolve in sellers favour? I can't think of more than a handful of SNAD claims I've heard of where a seller has won. Same with INR a seller can only win if they can track to delivery.
This is also being applied retrospectively, so all those cases we have been urging people to open so that eBay are aware of buyers who make repeat claims now count against those sellers.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I get INR cases raised all the time, mostly they end with the buyer apologising when it finally arrives somewhat later than expected.
Sellers cant ship earlier than immediately..0 -

Exactly. I refunded one buyer for INR and they left feedback saying I had refunded immediately. Next day I has another buyer saying 'not arrived' so alarm bells rang and I asked them to open a case to warn eBay. What a mistake that wasYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
If a buyer opens an INR case then item turns up, either buyer closes it or seller applies to CS to have it closed.
It would be beyond unfair for a seller to have to refund AND suffer a defect if the item has arrived ok!
And that's just the buyers that admit the item arrived.0 -

In the 12 INR cases I have raised in the past couple of months, not one buyer has admitted that the item has turned up, so that's over£200 I have refunded, and I think it's only going to get worse
Before the lovely 'tony' appeared on eBay saying that eBay guaranteed a full refund for SNAD or INR, I could count the number of INR's one one hand over the past 10 years !You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Ooh, just noticed that to retain the premium seller discount a seller will need to offer a 90 day return period over Christmas.:eek:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Yep, already seen that and think they might be gradually introducing this until it is the norm.
Also, what a result for buyers, get something in time for Christmas, use it all over the holiday period and return by 31st an for a full refund, or am I being really cynical ?You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Have only been trying to sell on ebay to help clear out after years of buying too many clothes. Have gradually been taking lots to the charity shop recently as it has just become too much hassle. Think I will now only sell occasionally when I make expensive shopping errors like the Ugg boots I bought at Christmas. The rest like jeans that don't fit can benefit the local hospice shop. Ebay and Paypal make more money than me and it is using up all my spare time.
Life is too short for this.
These changes are for business sellers. Private sellers are as yet unaffected.0 -

Apparently there will be an announcement for private sellers soon. No doubt they will be given lots of free listings, no forced returns, higher defect levels..while we business sellers continue to pay all the fees.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
