No sort code - I can't progress

Sorry if this has been asked a million times before but I'm trying to transfer my Post Office ISA account and they don't have a sort code(or so I believe). As I'm doing it online I can't go any further without it. If it was a paper form I would just leave it blank. I'm tearing my hair out at the minute!
Does anyone know what else I could try without having to ring Halifax's premium phone number?

I've just been told by the Post Office to put six zeros in the sort code boxes but that isn't working either. It feels like my money is now stuck in the Post Office ISA or I'll have to withdraw my ISA into cash and lose my tax free allowance"Rain is grace; rain is the sky descending to the earth; without rain, there would be no life."0

Can you visit the branch and get a banking advisor to initiate the transfer?0

Thanks for the response. I guess I could visit a branch but I doubt they'll be any more informative. I thought I had to request the transfer through the account I'm opening and not go through the old one (Post Office)."Rain is grace; rain is the sky descending to the earth; without rain, there would be no life."0

I can't think of any ISA provider who wouldn't accept, or even insist on, a paper form for an ISA transfer. Who are you transferring to?0

The reply to same question asked on the forum last year seems to have been:The PO helpline staff have told me that they do not have a sort code, and the 10 character account number is the one to use. The receiving bank (Halifax) seemed fine with this when I submitted forms today.

does the form you are completing allow for more than 6 numbers?butterfly )i(0 -
Finally I got an answer from Halifax. I tweeted them and they said to put the number in the roll number and not the account number box. Everything seems to be sorted now....I hope. You'd think the people on the phone would have been able to give me this info.
Anyway thanks for all the responses.:)"Rain is grace; rain is the sky descending to the earth; without rain, there would be no life."0 -

I've opened ISAs online before. It might be that they then sent me a form to sign but I definitely submitted the details online first.3 stone down, 3 more to go0
