And just for further info, NEB 24 is a generic claim at a tech issue.
DEFINITELY NOT an EC at this stage.

OK, I have read through the information and I will submit the claim this evening.
I know that if I win they will have to pay the legal costs but If I don't will I have to pay all of their costs?0 -

No. From what I have read, the potential costs they can recover are very limited (and don't include legal costs). Where cases have been reported on the forum as lost, I can't recall any costs being awarded against a claimant.
If you google, you'll find some official guidance.0 -
OK, also, can you tell me what NEB and EC stand for as I have no idea.0

If you don't know what NEB and EC stand for, you can't have read the FAQs. And if you have read them, you can't have understood them. So you might want to think about instructing a NWNF lawyer: as it gets way harder than that. Sorry ...0 -

No I haven't read them yet, I have spent about 5hrs reading through various documents online, mostly on this forum and I haven't got them yet.
Thanks for providing such a constructive answer though.0 -

Further to what I said above, in response to your 'ask' whilst commenting on the 'sea' of information in the TC thread, it can be a bit exasperating sometimes.
You ask what a NEB is, yet what does the first line say in the link I provided for you above just an hour or so ago?0 -
You should be posting on the dedicated thread. PLEASE read FAQ's on page one and go from there.
I'm beginning to think that it's time for the TC and Thomson threads to be locked, and a new thread(s) started with FAQ's as the first post, and then start again. (over to you Centipede if you concur)
People simply aren't reading the dedicated thread(s) of these airlines as it's/they are now too long.
Lock it and let it slip off the bottom IMO.0
