Best Electric Lawn Mower for medium size lawn

I have the Bosch rotary.
It's good!
Just make sure you don't get an "exclusive size" as you'll find getting replacement blades hassle.
I got the 34" version. It's quiet, packs in loads of grass and is easy to use. I've had it for a couple of years now.0 -
We got a B&Q own rotary electric for £40ish last year and can't fault it, used it to turn the bumpy jungle garden of our new house (2-3ft high in places) into something presentable and weekly all last summer into autumn. Took 26 bin bags of grass to tip on day 1 and this lawnmower barely flinched. Very impressive. Can't find it online though now to link to it.0

Like Magic Moments above we were very pleased with Bosch Rotak 430 Egroflex which we purchased for B and Q for £119. No problems with the Grass box but were disappointed the handles did not fold down as it meant the lawn mower needed for room for storage. B and Q also advised us that the handles folded but as we had assembled the mower we decided to keep it. This model gives the lawn a good cut.0

Grrr, missed the B&Q offers on Rotak Ergoflex - OOS on 43, can't find one locally on 37.
Looking at the Rotak 40 from Argos at £139.99: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7305193.htm
Anyone know the difference between the non-Ergoflex and the ErgoFlex?--- Warning: Grumpy Old Man in Training ---0 -
We purchased a Bosch Rotak 340ER Electric rotary mower from B and Q for £89 and it gives a good mow. We would classify our lawn somewhere between small and medium size. We like a rotary mower, but one needs to decide whether a hover, rotary or cylander mower is your preference before chosing a mower. You should the type you want before looking any further which will narrow down your choices. don;t just be guided by price as you may bend up with a lawnmower that does not suit you. Also look at the weight.0

I think mine is the ergo flex and think it is the shape of the handles. They can be held with hands either vertical or horizontal sort of like the dual holds on racing bike handles IFKWIM? Some of the older models are still being sold and they don't have the dual hold handles I believe. Check the pictures for this on the listing. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
I got mine from B&Q which has good reviews and i'm happy with.

We prefer a Hover Mower to a Rotary mower, and have got a Flymo Glidemaster 340 whhich suits us. It has a 1550 watt engine which is powerful enough for us. We found it easy to handle. It think it cost us about £110. It does only come with a 1 year manufaturers warranty. As another contributor mentioned it does depend it you prefer a Hover or Rotary mower. It is all down to personal taste0
