Scottish Independence: NOT Your Vote

Apparently it was Scotland that vetoed it in the past. Something about the cattle getting up in dark.
I did not say we would get more daylight , just in the evening when it would be more beneficial.
I understand.
Actually as I understand it, the reason for not using CET is not for cattle but for the safety of School Kids going to school.
Maybe that thought will change some minds on what is best.:wall:

This does make my point somewhat though.

I explained why I picked up on the anti english stuff as it does appear from other threads on the subject there is an "anti english feeling" when those who wish to go independant start blaming the rest of the UK for trying to stop it happening.
The best way to stop this up on this or any other thread is to either
a) Not bring it up in the first place)
or
b) point it out to the the poster.
As I said, it's interesting when you reflect on who brings up these subject matters:wall:

Theres nothing interesting about it at all. You are just trying to tag something on to me and imply I'm somehow anti scottish.
To which you are completely and utterly wrong.
You've done it twice now, so not point sitting there all sweet and innocent.
There are so many flaws in the independance argument that people are spending hours debating. The only way we are going to know what would happen is if it happens. Otherwise, these threads are going round and round in cirlces, and no mater how many polls are up, the same will happen.0 -

Graham,
If you don't like a topic (racist), don't bring it up and point it out when others do.
If you bring it up, you discredit your aggrievance to it.
Let's agree to move on and not bring up any anti-Scottish / anti-English vibes:wall:

Arguably the most significant event to affect the Union since 1707 and you seem to be arguing that it's pointless debating because whatever happens will happen?
Help to Buy on the other hand - that's different because it really matters0 -

Huh? So if I don't like an aspect that this scottish independance debate is creating, I should shutup and not mention it?
If I do mention it, I discredit myself?

I think we should move the clocks four hours forward. But then instead of going to bed at say midnight we can all stay up really late till 4AM. Instead of getting up at say 6 AM we can have a nice long lie in till 10 AM.
It won't change the timing of anything we do but it'll feel like we're getting a good deal out of it.There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
YesSorry you're bored with it - I guess it is because the 'national' news normally concentrates on news which only really concerns England, so it must be a shock to the system.
The EU is going to far more of an issue before Scotland becomes independent.
How will Scotland vote in the May elections given it won't be granted entry. Pro or Anti?0 -

After all, those deals priced in GBP won't be of interest to Scots and who in their right mind would be debating house prices of a foreign country...
I hope the Scots vote No
If they vote Yes, I wish them all the best.
