There has been a lot of discussion recently with regards to Scottish Independence.
With just over 6 months to go, are those NOT eligible to vote willing to share their voting poll.
Remember we are all anonymous in here.
ANy posters who are eligible to vote may wish tovote in the other poll https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4915460

I've created this poll to give the RoUK posters to share their view on whether Scotland should be independent from RoUK.
I will not be voting on this poll as I am not a RoUK resident.
Hopefully this balances up the poll opportunity and I apologise for not having the time to post this last Friday.:wall:

Isn't this now a bit pointless given that most of the posters in the other poll were RoUK resident?“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

I wonder if there's a Yes vote whether Martin will set up a Scottish Corner in MSE?
After all, those deals priced in GBP won't be of interest to Scots and who in their right mind would be debating house prices of a foreign country...
I hope the Scots vote No
If they vote Yes, I wish them all the best.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

We already have a separate system of buying/selling homes, so many of the threads on here aren't really relevant to us, but are still often interesting. House prices are very different from in the SE too.
We will still be using the £ even if we aren't in a currency union.0 -
YesCould we have another poll please?
I'd like to look at how many of us are sick of the scottish independance thing. Secondly, I'd like to ask how many of us were sympathtic at the start, but are now kinda wishing Scotland would just go independant?
The whole thing is just creating completely and utterly pointless deivides between the Scottish and the rest of the UK. It has the potential to boil over into all out racism (as already displayed on question time with anti english racism....and I'm not saying it doesn't work both ways, just what we have seen televised so far is hugely anti english, admitted even by the yes vote).
Bored bored bored of the thing. So just go independant, please, so we can at least sit and watch from the sidelines. Think the damage is now done on the relations thing. Any no vote will be the fault of the English and Welsh, so we can't win any longer. So if were gonna be the bad guys regardless of the outcome (which we already are it seems, as were influending the vote) we may aswell get something out of it and watch the outcome.0 -

Posts like this make me laugh - the Scottish independence debate has very little to do with how we feel about the English and Welsh. That is such a simplistic way of thinking of things. It is about the people who live here deciding how they want their country to be governed.
Sorry you're bored with it - I guess it is because the 'national' news normally concentrates on news which only really concerns England, so it must be a shock to the system.
btw it is independence not independance/0 -

I find it interesting.
It's a massively important issue.
Definitely more interesting than your 37th thread about some Tom, !!!!!! or Harry speaking out against HTB.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

We'll considering the other poll was clearly identified as for "eligible voters", maybe if people are able to follow this poll properly we can disseminate the results more accurately.:wall:

Indeed, a different legal system a different education system, a different house purchase system to name but a few.:wall:
