No I didn't - what I meant was it seems to contradict itself.

"Unfortunately we are unable to advise on individual applications. However, we have been advised that you should receive your tickets no later than 4th June 2014. "

If they can't guarantee, they should have said "if you have been successful you should receive your tickets..." etc.

This email implies "you" - as in me. I should receive my tickets. Not that I might.

Exactly. So not really difficult to understand then - you should have your tickets by 4th June.

'Should' indicates a probability or expectation, not a guarantee.

I fail to see any ambiguity or what the issue is.

I had tickets booked for the 2nd June, I still haven't had mine

THey said that they can't resend them cause then I will have 2 sets!! I said I don't have ANY sets at the moment. The email I got back said they would look into it on the 4th June.. 2 days after I should have gone

I am so upset as I booked a day off work to go

Are these different ones where you choose the date?

How did you get them - was it the Sun+ offer?

Fingers crossed it gets resolved, tho it is unlikely to be before I actually go up there now! We live in Berks, and were going up that way for half term.

Have the same issue as you, sun online chat and there manager says i have declined tickets, when I haven't and even had confirmation from them for the date. The manager just says its my fault and that there's nothing they can do as all the tickets are gone. Even thou, there still sending replacement ones out to other customers. Total joke from the sun, especially as a sun+ member.

I understood it to be one per household but I don't have the terms and conditions to hand to confirm.

No. One per household, if multiple applications were made they would void ALL applications.
