I still haven't had mine. And same, never had any probs previously and have often sent them off last minute. Not on is it, as it says "2 free tickets for every reader" and it costs us to send for them!

Unfortunately we are unable to advise on individual applications. However, we have been advised that you should receive your tickets no later than 4th June 2014. Applications are still currently being processed and tickets are still being dispatched.

If you have not received your tickets by 4th June please contact us again and we will look into this for you.

I have had a response from the email I sent -

Thank you for your recent correspondence. Your enquiry has been escalated to a Manager to look into. As soon as they have had the opportunity to confirm what the situation is with regards to this application they will respond to your enquiry.


Fingers crossed it gets resolved, tho it is unlikely to be before I actually go up there now! We live in Berks, and were going up that way for half term.

It's pretty straightforward and not really difficult to understand: you should have your tickets by 4th June.

Its not necessarily being greedy to be fair. They've had to buy several copies of the sun, send them all off and include SAEs You could have done that too!! You dont know that that individual is selling them all then buying 5 pairs with the same date on. I do that! sending me 3 lots of tickets with different dates is no good so I have to sell them and then buy others all with the same dates. You have to pay fees and postage so sometimes you COULD end up at a loss if you have to pay more for yours than what you got for the ones you sold.

Hopefully yours will come. We have until 4th june. I got one set yesterday. I wanted july though and got sept.

Well no not really - it says we can't advise on individual applications, so really it's just a holding email saying oh we can't say if you in particular are getting any, but you'll have them by 4th June.

Seems pretty clear to me too.

They will have sent them all out by 4th June - so until that date you wait.

They are also unable to send a person down to the mail holding areas to route through THOUSANDS of applications looking for yours.

Did you really think they would?
