Give me an example of what these points get you? IE what are the vouchers for and how many ponts do you need for that item. No point in take part if it gets me feminine hygiene products!! Also are products you bought available for you to see on a site. Would be interesting to know that. Thanks SD

you scan your food shopping with a handheld scanner they send you and some barcode information from a book you need to use.

as long as you scan and submit barcodes weekly you earn 1100 points weekly. you can earn extra points with surveys they send you and if they invite you to other panels they run too.

you can cash out for a £10 reward voucher at 10000 points. They also have a weekly competition where a member number is drawn and they win £100 to spend on any vouchers they like. I won a couple of years ago.

the vouchers are various. sainsburys, next, homebase, days out vouchers, halfords, and various others. I can only name the ones I tend to order, debenhams, next, halfords, etc.

Thanks do you get a choice on which ones you get. I live rural and don't drive. The nearest Sainsburys is 10 miles away and I would have to cycle there etc

yes you can choose which vouchers you want. not everything is on there ie asda, but you choose what suits you.

I go for next, halfords as I shop there, but you can choose what you would like based on what they offer.

Not much choice. No supermarket? Supermarkets would be an obvious choice. Pity

Food on the Go people, how are you finding the new app? I am a little disappointed that the points have been reduced so much and I find the app far more time consuming then texting because they ask for so much more info. Am I missing something or is it not such a good deal for us anymore?

I have literally just been invited to the FOTG panel. I had originally signed up on the volunteer4panels website in 2007! I have no idea what they offered before though, but I'm happy :)

I'm very disappointed with the new app. I don't find it easy at all; it takes me a lot longer to add any snacks and drinks, the barcode scanner is very hit and miss, and the points gained are extremely disappointing. I usually earn about 4000 points, this week I received 1050. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Do you usually transmit each item separately?
