Thanks for the replies, I just couldn't see anywhere on their FAQ or the info I had
The other week did a shop at Asda, Aldi, Boots and River Island, Accessorize and scanned everything , it was until the following week I wondered about RI and Accessorize0 -
Has anyone actually received a reward for taking part in Shop and Scan Receipts? (The one where you take a photo of shopping receipts and submit them on a mobile phone)
I reached £10 early in January and ordered a book voucher by email as they instructed and told delivery would be 10 days. I am still waiting even though they say it had been reordered.0 -
My concern is over, it arrived today.0

Currently on the Food on the Go text panel but have been invited to start using the new app - the text panel will be closing eventually. Points don't appear to be as good but lot less typing. My partner was also on the text panel but hasnt received invite. Items have increased from 20 a week to 40 a week - could this now be one app for the household rather than seperate? Anyone got any experience of using this app?0

Same here. I'm the main one that does the shopping etc on shop and scan. But my daughter has been invited to use the app, and I haven't.
I phoned their helpline and the person I spoke to said it was only my daughter that had been invited. I asked if I would be invited too. He said to carry on texting until it finishes, the they may decide to invite me. Not very reassuring.0 -
I got it too - but its soooooo much more time consuming than just texting as the barcode scanner is a mare to use - it just doesn't pick up barcodes very quickly and its also the wrong way round! But on the positive side - they now give points for non-barcoded drinks and meals out. For me it takes up more time on the whole but it does collect more data for them!0

Another question re food on the go app. Points are awarded for first 40 "occasions" per week - so does giving details of 3 items bought as part of a meal deal count as one occasion whereas giving details of the 3 items seperately count as 3 occasions and therefore worth more in points?0

apologies in advance if this is a really stupid question
is it only groceries. household and foodstuffs that are required
or is it everything clothes, electrical's etc ??I do whatever I buy from a supermarket, like socks, small electrical appliances, same with "stuff" from Lidl, and just let them sort it out
but would draw the line at huge TV or 'fridge for instanceI have only ever scanned food/groceries.
I was always led to believe we are meant to scan all purchases not just groceries.
If it was just meant to be groceries, then why are there shops like B&Q and Amazon, for example, listed in the scan book?Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

The trouble is you get the points whether you scan one shop or 20 shops so I have only ever done groceries and never been penalised.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know.
