FERROLI UK - disgraceful boiler cover

corruptioneverywhere
Just been ripped off by ferroli uk boiler company. Avoid them like the plague. Their 2 year warranty stands for nothing. They came down 3 times to repair a 2 week old boiler and they have charged a £75 call out fee on the basis of them claiming there was no gas on the gas meter on their 3rd visit when there clearly was as the gas hob was on at the time the engineer came over. Now they want my credit card details again before they come down to repair for a fourth time, i refused and now have been left with a faulty boiler. Very arrogant rude customer service, complete rip off.

These are the kind of things that happen when you buy a cheap boiler.0

The company will be acting in accordance with Ferroli.
You should call Ferroli and tell them you want one of their engineers... however good luck with that.
Cheap nasty boiler, cheap nasty service.Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0 -
I had a Ferroli boiler when I moved into my house. My god, it was rubbish! I lost count of the times it broke down. I've replaced it with a Worcester Bosch now, which is brilliant.0

The company that i am talking about is FERROLI UK. They are the ones who the warranty is actually with and they are the ones who stole £75 and are not honoring their 2 year warranty.0 -
The solution is to
a) write demanding your £75 back and head the letter "Letter before Action". Give them 7 days to comply before you sue.
b) In the same letter, remind then that the gas was on and working when they last came, contrary to their claim, and that they have failed to fix the boiler. Give them 7 days to return and fix the boiler. Enclose a copy of the warranty.
c) Advise them that if after 7 days they have not complied, you will engage your own engineer and forward them the bill, the cost of which will, if they do not re-imburse you, be added to your legal claim.0 -

Thankyou G_M for the advice, i will be doing this. In the meantime i have informed the financial-ombudsman and they are drafting a letter to be sent to them before legal action.0
