At the end of the day as they are quoting the UK DSR legislation to you then you can always quote the UK SoGA back to them however it is unlikely that anything is going to get your monies back so you may just want to cut your losses and not spend more of your time on it.
There are lots of warning signs on the site that it isnt kosher but thats all a little irrelevant now. I disagree that paying by bank transfer is an immediate sign of a scam, in some countries it is the most common way of paying for things however a "UK" company doing this is unusual and a warning sign.
Not sure how much of a heavy the other poster is but they could always see whats at the address for you. Looking on Google Maps its not easy to find 101 but no obvious bridal stores and its a mix of residential and business.0 -
Buying from China is always a risk but like buying from any where including the UK you need to do your own due diligence on the company first.
I have had many successful purchases from China but I am well aware that there is no come back if it goes wrong.
As for only buying from UK businesses well what ones? Most of the UK based internet sites such as Amazon make millions from us but do not pay corporation tax here so why give them money over anyone else?0 -
Err, first sentence of the opening post says different.
This is absolutely hilarious of you to be so offended by my decision to use an online company to make my dresses. Funny that.... why dont you check the MAJORITY of the label on your clothes and see where they were made?
Pretty sure you'll find most, if not all, of them are made by Chinese people.. in china. So take your silly silly comments elsewhere. You have not been helpful at all and if youve got nothing good to say, dont say anything0
