I made a complaint to mr Tesco tonight on freefone number 0800 50 55 55. They were appreciative of the feedback, especially as they had received a few complaints already about the 'new' nappies.
If you have a complaint, please take 5 minutes to call this number, as this is the only way we can change things. They are open 9-6pm.
I gave feedback about the nappies and the loss of the small packs of wipes.

I love Tesco nappies,I have tried asda's but they changed their design and weren't as absorbant so I tried Tesco's and they have been great, huggies I feel have a funny smell about them for some reason.
Luckily though my DS is a week into potty training and is going great with only a nappy for the night time so hopefully they won't be needed for much longer.Mfit member no 13 original balance £44000

I don't mind Tesco's nappies but haven't tried the new design yet, i have tried them all now i think but i've for that Lidls and Wilkinsons own are far better.
as for wipes, has anyone been into home bargains ?
I use theirs all the time, there are normal and sensitive and there are 72 in a pack for 59p BARGAIN !!0 -
I bought some Sainsburys nappies this morning. Size 2 were £3.97 for 45 and currently on a "buy 2 save £1.34" offer.
Charlotte has been road testing them today, and they've been fine. They are a much better fit than Tesco's, and they managed to contain an explosive poo!
I'll be using these in future. Here I go again on my own....0 -
And I have been using Sainsbury the last 2 days for DS and found thm useless
Had 3/4 very near accidents. I have found they fill very quickly(just for wee)

I am usually a tesco's buyer as I find them good value but I have noticed there is something up with their baby section because when I get child benefit (every 4 weeks) I go and do a nappy, wipe, milk shop the last two times I have been I have been unable to get any tescos nappies and the last time I went for wipes I couldn't get them either which I was really dissapointed with I bought pampers this month (as I had clubcard vouchers from parenting club) and I think they are rubbish however as I have been unable to get the new design tesco's I can't comment on them as a very frequent user though I will look out for them and may buy a small pack to try based on what you guys have said I do like huggies though they are the best for us.

Wipes we normally use tesco's own hate the huggies one to wet and too thick like pampers and johnsons but because of the price only buy if on BOGOF and there are no tescos etc.:j:love: Getting married to the man of my dreams 5th November 2011:j

Hi, for my newborn 4 weeks old, ive used the size 1 pampers and also the tesco version. We`ve found the tesco ones are alot better, found them thick and did not leak, whereas the pampers one did. Ive not tried the huggies version yet, but with poo`s changing im sure each nappy with have its own advantage/disadvantage.0

I hadn't noticed any difference in the quality of the nappies, I only tend to buy Tesco ones. Although I did have 2 nappies in the pack which didn't have a velcro strip on so completely useless. I wrote a letter to them last week enclosing one of the nappies for reference so we'll see what they sayDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0

We used Tesco's own nappies for DS, but that was like 2 yrs ago so can't comment on the new ones, but we had no problem with them.
We have been stocking up on nappies from Tesco, newborn ones, which SIL uses and finds them great, but we have recently switched to shopping at Asda and have yet to buy their nappies. If everyone cared and nobody cried, if everyone loved and nobody lied, if everyone shared and swallowed their pride then we'd see the day when nobody died.

I have since switched from the purple pack to the green and these seem to be much better:D
In a recent Which report, Asda nappies came out top of the supermarkets.

1. Pampers Baby Dry £5.99 (18p per nappy). Which magazine says this
one leaked the least and has the greatest absorbency. It's also the
lightest and thinnest nappy. It's available from Mothercare as a pack
of 132 nappies for £16.99, 13p per nappy.
2. George Baby Comfort Dry £3.97 (12p per nappy). Which magazine says
these perform well, are considerably cheaper than the top brand and are
the most breathable nappy (useful if your baby has a tendency to nappy
rash).It's great in here!0
