the waist band of the tesco nappies gave my dd an awful rash. we've swapped to huggies natural fit and they are fab, not one exploding nappy since we started using them.

I used to be a fan of the Tesco's own nappies, but in a bid to avoid Mr T I've been going to Sainsburies instead. Better quality and certainly no different in price (as long as I stick to my list and don't get tempted). Sainsburies own brand nappies are just as good and don't cost any more IMO.

Never was terribly satisified with Tesco nappies so had settled on Boots ones but this week they have gone up from 2 packs for £13 to £7.99 per pack and thats with a long term £1 off per pack offer....
Anyway, back to the point, I have been using Tesco value wipes which at 89p for 100 we found suited our needs perfectly but these have dissapeard from the shelves too, the next cheapest pack was £1.75:mad:

Hadn't noticed the price change. What is it?(I must say I noted lots of higher prices in Mr Tesco yesterday, in line with a change around of products in store..)

The size nappies I buy used to be £4.17 for 34, they're now £3.97 for 25 - someone somewhere is making money!

I use a calculator when I shop, and for some reason punching the number in seems to set it in my brain...means I notice the odd penny here and there (or in the case of chilled fruit juice, the odd 30p here and there...)

I've always been told that babies should be changed at least 4 hourly, which works out at 6 times a day, regardless of whether they have wet or not, this to reduce nappy rash, so can't imagine only changing 4 times a day.

depends on if you change in the night. i don't if she's asleep then i leave her along. 4 hours between in the day makes 3 changes assuming they sleep 12 hours at night.

I have always used tescoa apart from when I used cloth ( baby was having problems so now in paper again).
Saying that tho I have in the past weeks been shopping in lidle and there I get 50 nappies for £5 which are not bad IMHO.
Also I do have a soft sport for the new pampers 12 hr dry.
Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!

I have always used Tesco nappies for ds - found the new ones to be a bit loose around his legs and have had some minor leaks - wasn't sure if I just needed to go down a size for him - I've also noticed his bum has been getting a bit red. I thought they might be a bit more expensive but tbh I'm not v. good at remembering prices of things. Thinking of changing to Boots as I used them with dd and found them to be really good as well (4 yrs ago tho!).

I have found the new ones to be very poor. The first time I used them, DD ended up soaked through. I phoned and complained and got a refund. I use a parenting forum as well and many of the mums there have also been disappointed and phoned and complained.

I only ever used tesco premature nappies as they were the best prem nappy. And also, half the price of others.

    Then changed to pampers.

Found that pampers suit my boys as they are tall and skinny. Though huggies suit my friends wee boy better as they are wider.
