I had a breadmaker (still do technically, but it is at the back of a cupboard). I much prefer to make it by hand and get better results.0

Oh, Landy Andy, you should see the horrors that ensue when I try it without the breadmaker. You clearly have more time, skills and patience than I do!0

On a more serious note, does anyone have any great recipes? I got an email from Amazon and it's due to arrive tomorrow!!! Might try it out on Sunday.0

There is quite a comprehensive instruction / recipy book that comes with it.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

Worth getting in some dried yeast and, if memory serves right, some milk powder. Also have a look at what type of flour is best.0

Just a bit of advice- Seeds should be added to the main bucket of a Panasonic Breadmaker, not into the dispenser at the top.
The dispenser is just for dried fruits, nuts, sun dried tomatoes etc0 -
Also Panasonic Breadmakers don't use dried milk powder anymore, although you can use it if you want to0

Just play round with different flours, mix 'em up, add different stuff, see what you like best. I tend to add about half a cup of medium oatmeal to mine, as I like the texture it produces. Adding sultanas and cinnamon makes a great fruit loaf. Sundried tomatoes for a savoury one. Experiment and enjoy.0
