Being in the trade I can assure you that exactly the opposite of your opinion is the norm with Rangemaster, easily one of the best companies to deal with and will supply me with just about anything within reason to keep a customer happy or get the job sorted asap, customers love them too, unlike many of the other range cooker brands I work on.If it's rangemaster I found them to have appalling customer service.0 -

Cooker " expert" , I'm entitled to say that I had unsatisfactory dealings with them. I also have a friend who has a range master cooker that has very poor design , the one where it's hard to see the light that shows the cooker is on .I notice a couple of other people have taken you to task about your " expert" opinions. They are verging on self promoting... Which is against mse rules0 -
Looking back on Cooker experts previous posts, I don't see that he is ' self promoting'
I see it , that he is a service engineer of some years, who has worked on Numerous manufacturers appliances, but likes range master products the best.
We all have a preference to what we sell and promote, me with fires. I promote a certain brand more, as I know there is less of a chance of issues later on, rather than other similar brands.
Speaking to a colleague who owns a white goods store, they do say that Range master is a very good brand, one that they do promote a lot in store themselves.0 -
Oh please, where exactly is the self promoting ???Cooker " expert" , I'm entitled to say that I had unsatisfactory dealings with them. Have I passed out my details or offered my services ?
No, therefore your statement is verging on the ridiculous.
Please tell me where your experience is in this industry ?
Do you see 7-10 customers a day who tell you of their experiences with various brands ?
The only person on here who took me to task was a no knowledge kitchen salesman who had never taken a cooker apart in his life, if you prefer advice from somebody like that then you get what you deserve when it all comes crashing down.
I would love to know what problem you had with RM that gives you such a bad opinion of the best manufacturer by a mile in its price range.0 -
This thread isn't about rangemaster.can you help the op?

I had a Rangemaster sink that was proven to be inherently faulty and they could not have been less helpful. After weeks of exchanging emails with them I eventually did a s. 75 claim to get my money back. They are one of few brands that I would never touch again.0 -

But as the OP stated that it was a Bush appliance before you even made your first post on here, why even bring Rangemaster up?0
