Sadly this one can't, which is a shame cos I bet Feuerwehrmann Sam has got some right groovy moves to share:rotfl:

I like the look of the Air RAM - what impresses me most is the compact bundling of the dust and dirt
Well the handheld does a great job greent, can deffo recommend and am trying not to be scared at how excited I have become about a vacuum cleaner :eek:Life is changing...but I'm still Money Saving!0 -

I'm being very controlled with my QVC spending, but I'm not sure what'll happen if they have some sort of Yankee Candle sale after Christmas. All control could be lost!
Yes it was me Gg, thanks for keeping me company. My local Yankee stockist did me a deal yesterday on some discontinued candles for my best friend, she's the kiss of death to that company, every scent she loves they stop making :rotfl:. Anyway it was fun getting £200's worth of candles home on the back of the pram, if it wasn't for the fact I paid (on her behalf, she's paid me back) £120 for them I might not have bothered <applies arnica to strained back>

Hi RT :j
Good news about the industrial action, hopefully that will make the run up to Christmas a bit less stressful for you all :T
I'm really envious of you having a gardener! My friend also has one and her garden always looks so neat and tidy where as mine has been ransacked my chickens and children  I might investigate maybe having someone come once a month once Ds has his funding for pre school. I find it really difficult to keep on top of it allalthough I did buy some pansies the other day so I'll plant those today
Great news about dd starting nursery :T I bet she'll have a great time, not to mention giving you some time off! Sounds like a lovely small nursery. I'm a bit unsure weather to increase Ds's hours after Christmas when he gets his funding through. He does 8 hours a week at the moment and I could increase it to 15 hours but I'm not sure I want to, I think I'd miss him:)
Well done on the weight management :T I've still got 10lbs to lose, I think I need to try harder on my non fast days, I do like my cake though
Sorry Crumpets, realised I didn't respond to you! I was collared by workers staffing a stand from the local Children's Centres yesterday & apparently DD may be entitled to some free nursery time as part of the new measures for 2 year olds because she's got an Autistic sibling. Have to look into that. Even if she's entitled to 15 hours I'd only send her for a couple of sessions though, I want my baby around too
The gardener has been the best spend ever! It's totally worth £16 per fortnight to stop it looking depressingly untidy. I love my garden I just don't want to have to do any actual gardening :rotfl:Life is changing...but I'm still Money Saving!0 -
Crikey blimey is it that long since I last posted?! It's been a busy month with school Xmas things, Xmas planning & prep & Xmas generally! I think I'm all done now - all the food is bought, all the presents (except an awkwardly shaped wooden dolls cot ) are wrapped, and the kids are clean, so I think I'm as ready as I'm going to be
. We saw Santa yesterday, turns out he has a very strong Lancashire accent, I never knew that :rotfl:
I peeked at our finances through one barely open eye& we seem to have emerged relatively unscathed. The problem, if I can call it that, of this Xmas has been the bargains! It's been hard to turn down quality/branded things for the kids that we know they'll love & use when they've routinely been 50% off. (In fact <whispers> I've bought a couple of bits for next year
.) I totted up how much the stuff I've got would have cost if it had been full price & it is over double the figure I paid. We did go over the kids budget, but only because DD announced 10 days ago that she wanted the same toy DS is getting as his main present (it's an Ultimate Tree Fu Tom, if you don't know what I'm on about then be grateful
) We assumed she was just saying it as he's been wittering about it but no, she's been very clear & consistent & kept trying to take one to the till when we were in the toy shop . I couldn't face arguments on Xmas morning so I bought her one too, on the basis that if on Xmas day she's distracted by all her other stuff then I'll just return it in Jan. She's still talking of nothing else though so I suspect it's a keeper! She'll probably ignore entirely the beautiful wooden kitchen I secured in Asda at the bargain price of £40
Looking forward to saving in the new year! I always get like this after Xmas. Got some ideas about what we might do but will post those another time. For now I hope everyone has a really lovely Christmas, whatever you're doing, & thanks to all who've read my ramblings through 2014! Happy new year one & all
