Santander Cash ISA 2014

It's all there on the Santander websiteSee the 2.3% fixed 2years isa, can you still pay into it monthly or as and when you like over these 2 years? (Obvs upto your allowance)
deposits for 2014/2015 tax year can be made up to and including 31 May 2014. No subsequent additional deposits allowed.0 -
I applied online for the 123 2 Year Fixed Rate ISA on 14 March in order to consolidate several small ISAs. Received acknowledgement & almost immediate confirmation that it was open & giving account details. No mention made of the '123' element in either email. (Obviously I qualify for the 123)
Today it has appeared in my online banking, but the detailed product name is simply 2 Year Fixed Rate ISA 01/05/2016. Again, no mention of the '123' element.
I've sent a secure message querying this but wondered if anyone who has already opened one can say what their detailed product name shows.0 -
Hi badger09
I opened the 123 Fixed Rate ISA on Thursday; it was opened and showing in my online banking immediately.
Under the accounts section it just shows as Fixed Rate ISA, but if I click onto that account the detail shows:
'The detailed product name for this account is 123 2 YR FIXED RATE ISA 01/05/2016.'
Hope that helps.0 -

Yes that does help - in that it confirms my suspicions
My detailed product name has the '123' bit missing! I'll wait for Santander's response before I send off my transfer forms.0 -
Mine shows same on clicking the for detail. I renamed mine to the same as the detail, i.e. '123 2 YR FIXED RATE ISA 01/05/2016' so that shows on the main screen. I have done that to other accounts at Santander where the name is not self-explanatory.Hi badger09

I've also decided to transfer my larger Cheshire ISA to this rather than the soon to end Direct ISA Saver Iss 1.0 -

Hmmm definitely a screw up by Santander then. Pity, as I've had no problems with them for many years. Wonder how long they'll take to respond

Hmmm... I also wanted to open a 123 2 year fixed rate ISA, and also seem to now have a 2 year fixed rate ISA instead (i.e. without the 123). OH also opened one and it's the same.
badger09, did you get a response? I've just messaged them, but wondered if you'd heard anything more yet?0 -
I opened 2 Year Fixed ISAs for my wife and I yesterday (we have 123 Current account), I was logged online and followed the 2.3% 2 Year Fix Link. Our applications do not show the 1 2 3 prefix to the 2 Year Fixed ISA account name.
Is there a way of seeing the detail of the ISA account? i.e. interest rate0 -
By default, it shows 'FIXED RATE ISA' but if you click that it will show '123 2 YR FIXED RATE ISA (A) 01/05/2016'. You can always rename the account to this, and if you wanted to, include the interest rate, so it is always there to remind you. You do this from the 'Add, remove or rename an account' link in the grey bar above the accounts.I opened 2 Year Fixed ISAs for my wife and I yesterday (we have 123 Current account), I was logged online and followed the 2.3% 2 Year Fix Link. Thats the issue, the account detail (when I click the opening accounts page) just says 2 YR Fixed Rate ISA 01/05/2016 not with the prefix 123. People, including myself, are just curious why 123 is not mentioned and are we getting the higher 2.3% for 123 account holders rather than the 2.0% for for non 123 account holders. There doesn't seem to be a way to find out online what rate I have actually been put on, it didn't even mention it on the confirmation emails, just says ISA application.0
