A leisurely morning so far, and the light showers have turned into a thunderstorm and heavy rain here, so glad we didn't go out anywhere exciting, but we are all enjoying each others company

    Plan is:
    • [strike]put SC on with curried parsnip soup[/strike]
    • [strike]put WM on with DH's work clothes[/strike]
    • wash charlie car seat/baby walker/pushchair covers
    • make bottles
    • make cornbeef and potato pie for dinner
    • spend some time dealing with spare room/ironing pile from hell
    • bathroom clean loo done, and new rim block
    • finish hoovering bathroom, our room and spare room where i can reach
    • pack up some of charlie's too small clothes
    • get Dh to put in loft
    • go for a family walk, perhaps to park
plus anything extra that i think of through the day.
    • new batteries in Charlie's toy and kitchen clock
Where was it AnW's mum? After all that!! Saves you some spendo's for the hols. - we are in Maltby, so not that far away.

It was down the back of the kitchen drawer! I had checked the drawers last night to no avail but didn't pull them all out because the back board to the sink unit is out due to the flood and anything which might have fallen out would have been on the floor or so I thought.

Thank you thank you thank you one and all for all the positive vibes that you sent us.

Right now I have calmed down a bit and let the various people know that I have spoken to in the last 24 hours I am going to grab something to eat and then DD and I are off for a bit of retail therapy (postponed from the flooding disaster day!)

    Fantastic New's you found it!!!!!

Just put washing out again and returned from Tesco after buying job lot of wasp nest destroyer. Veggies prepared for Sunday dinner. DS missing in action after staying at friends house last night - hopefully just not woken up yet (he is 14 after all - needs his beauty sleep for all the girls!!:rotfl: ).
DD1 (17yrs) has ground to halt tidying girls room - more important things to do like straightening hair again.

    Hope party goes well pigpen.

Bit bored cos it is still raining, and DH is still flicking between watching tour de france and grand prix. YAWN!!

SO i have given myself a bit of a head start on the kitchen for tomorrow:
    • fronts of appliances wiped
    • all washing up done
    • wiped the kettle round
    • wiped the cupboard fronts
    • kitchen bin got wiped yesterday when we emptied it.
I guess i could make a start on peeling veggies for dinner, but not a lot to do, and i have just sat down with a cuppa waiting for Charlie to wake up again. He's been asleep another 45 mins, after having 1hr 45 this morning. He's moving around a lot and it is making him shattered.

Might read a bit more of my book. nothing on telly tonight either so i might get chance to watch my film.

Must also wrap that amazon parcel up ready to post off tomorrow.

    Michelle, x
