Thanks for the new thread Natty.

Jacci *Hugs* Sorry for your loss.

I'm going to try and be in this week. No errands until later in the week once I've picked books up today. DD is off school sick with a bacterial throat infection which is making her feel awful. She was feeling very dodgy and like she was going to collapse so there was no chance of sending her to school. Drs orders are off for a few days (probably until at least Thursday) but has 10 days worth of antibiotics to take. Its her first time off since for maybe a year, I knew her saying "I always get a meal deal on the last day for 100% attendance" would jinx her lol

I have laundry, dishes, a Mr A delivery to sort (I was getting one anyway this week!), and a bit of work to do. Can't do anything thats too loud as everything is making DDs head hurt :( Will have to leave the laundry until she's gone to bed I think. Best move myself. I'm freezing but don't want to put the heating on as DD is still running a temp.

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Well I wished I hadn't gone to the vets now.. Poor little Amycat is suffering from the same thing that Ollie had, a tumour behind her eye, unfortunately it's only a matter of time...Who would have believed it, 2 cats in the same house dying of the same thing within 2 months of each other. DH is convinced she is missing Ollie so much and that's why she is going..you know broken heart type of thing. Hopefully the steroid and antibiotic injections will take some effect later today and she'll start eating again. My poor little girl - can't believe it, only a couple of weeks ago she was bouncing around healthy as anything and now she's dying.. :( At the moment she is curled up next to me but we are playing "fire the bloody boogie at mummy" game. Basically as the antibiotic kicks in she is starting to breathe a bit better but she is clearing the ick up her nose via me...especially as she hates having her nose wiped with a passion..

All I can say is thank the gods I have the two kittens to keep me occupied. And funnily enough they are being as good as gold this afternoon..they must know.:A

Piggers you always know what to say don't you? I hadn't thought of the links with my mum like that, not just with Amycat.

Natty I'm so sorry to hear that Amycat is so poorly. I'll muster up what healing vibes I can, if just to try and make her more comfortable.

Jessie has gone home now; she'll be back for another weekend with me on 13th March (it's easiest all round if she comes to me on the Thursday evening). I've Dys0ned up three cylinders full of black dog hair since she left!!

I'm not feeling terribly good today, so I'm glad I don't have to cook tonight; I made a quiche yesterday, and there's enough for tonight's dins as well. Just have to do a few chips, which Mr LW has already cut and left in a bowl of water, so that I don't risk my fingers.:A

Bless him, he also did a load of dusting yesterday; he did all the bits I struggle to get to, and I did the rest, so it's all clean for now.:T

Natty, I'm so sorry about your cat :( xxx

After my panic this morning as I was overwhelmed about how much I had to do, I've got a lot done. Got the SEN form filled, copied & posted.
I sorted the kitchen cupboards. Hoovered through. Tidied some hotspots. Tidied the utility room.

    Take care all x

    Hi all :)
Got home from work an hour ago so going to create some forms for business, do some cleaning before I settle down and watch a film :)

Natty - I am so, so sorry to hear about your cat :( It happened very fast with my dog also last Easter - she was literally running around one day and within days went downhill extremely fast :( All you can do is give her her meds to help ease the pain and wrap her up in love x Bug hugs hunny x

Will report back later with FLYing achieved :)

  • Hi all - nothing much done today apart from visit to nurse practitioner at Drs - apparently "it is viral so will take 7-10 days to clear"!!! Hope to sleep tonight.

Hadn't coughed much all day as it hurts too much when I do - until DH got home so must stop talking to him!

Must be feeling a little better in myself as noticed what a mess everywhere is and what a big ironing pile I have!!

Did manage to work out how to burn photos onto disc to transfer to new laptop - so that is complete now as DH came home early to put them onto the new one. Old one safe to use as have now done security updates!!

Hope everyone had a productive day - will catch up on fred later.
Thanks for lists Natty and to Dusty for last week's. I have a lot of catching up to do!!!!!:(
