That's interesting DD struggled in primary school as she is dyslexic/dyspraxic but it wasn't until 6th form that she was finally formally assessed and it was decided that her own hard won coping strategies were effective and no extra help is required. Her English lit tutor is concerned about Uni for her though.

!!!!!!.. I have been on the phone for an hour.. DD4 has been given a place at the wrong high school.. she needs to be with siblings due to getting there and back with her cerebral palsy.. I need someone with her to make sure she is ok... appeal underway already and I will keep her home if I have too.. the school she has been offered is a very good school but I simply can't get her there.. there isn't even a bus! I will drop the parent partnership a call .. I'm sure they will support our appeal :) ... Prepare for battle LA Admissions Team.. :p

    Morning flyladies :hello:

Just back from the dentist with DS2, it was awful  He has three teeth which need removing (one is rotten :( the other two are overcrowded) He bawled his way through the local anaesthetic but had calmed down, as soon as she started trying to remove the bad tooth he was screaming :( Long story short, we are now waiting on a referral for GA to have all three out. I feel rotten, so I can't imagine how bad DS2 feels. Day at home with lots of cuddles now I think.

Flying wise, I need to get the WM loaded and have a tidy and flinging session. Kitchen floor desperately needs mopping. Coffee and a destressing ciggie first though.

    Love to all xx
  • Hello all.

Just got in from a walk with DH. Dog rolled in fox poo but will sort that after a cuppa; she's shut in her bed for now. Bad news - got details of DD's secondary school offer; she hasn't been offered a place at any of the 3 we wanted but has an offer at another school her cousin will be going to. We'll be appealing ......

FizzWhizz so sorry to hear about DS2 at the Dentist; it must be awful for both of you. Hope you won't have to wait too long for referral to come through as you don't want that hanging over you.

Pigpen poor you; really going through the wars. Chucking a big stick for your BD. I don't know what goes on with the LAs re school allocation; I hope you are able to sort DD4 out. I can't imagine they've got a leg to stand on if you've already got her siblings there.

Hi Hollyh, think I can remember you from before!
