Rainbowchild I hope you enjoy talking to us in the coming days, weeks etc.!!!
I have been out all night at my mums celebrating her wedding anniversary(25 years)and need to go to bed shortly. I am going to get up early and wash my hair and feel better about myself. I bought some new foundation today so will try it out tomorrow. Will check in tomorrow night with everyone as seeing a friend after work.
Love to all, speak soon.

Hi guys
Hope today has been a good or better day for you all.
What an amazing weekend it was - the weather was brilliant.
I am going round in circles. We are having to leave here in 6 weeks and thinking about places to live.
There isn't much we like up here except central Edinburgh but my OH doesn't work in the centre of Edinburgh anymore.
My OH job isn't secure and the woman he works with/for is unreasonable but her OH is fine.
We are wondering how secure the job is as we have to take a 6 month minimum rental. Otherwise, we are free to live anywhere if he quits or loses his job. We do have income from the sale of our house, so money isn't too tight.
We went to Dorset and Somerset at the weekend and liked it. There are either country houses inland or flats on the front in Bournemouth to rent. We can't decide. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
:eek::mad: :beer:
I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0 -

Hi Cat. Thanks for the post letting us know you are around. You are up late again. How are you at the moment? Hope you are alright. I know that sometimes there isn't anyone up in the night, but you can always post about how you feel and we'll reply when we can, if that would help. I'm posting at odd times at the moment. Its 1pm here. I've still not managed to phone my Mum, one of us is always asleep!
Glad you've got good weather CCStar. What temperature is it? Its about 5 degrees here at the moment, but drops to -10 when it goes dark! 6 month minimum rentals are very annoying when you don't know where you'll be in that time. We are staying in our current house despite it not being ideal because we don't know where we'll be in a month, let alone 6! These things have a way of working out, hope you get a home that you are happy with.
Evening Week! Did you wear your foundation when you went out? Hope you had a nice time seeing your friend. You said that was tommorow night, but I think that is my today, or later on. Its very confusing! Well, if you've already gone, hope it was nice. If you are going later, hope it is nice! What foundation is it? I borrowed my Sister-In-Laws Clinque foundation the other day, and it was fabulous. I think I might treat myself to a bottle. I'm still using the No7 stuff I got for my Wedding Day. Sorry about your bad day at work. Sometimes I talk a bit loud and genuinely don't know I'm doing it. Its upsetting when OH accuses me of shouting. Hope things are sorted out soon.
Wow Diamond, those are really great peices of advice. I'll print those out when I get home and make a real effort to stick to them. I like "Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon." - I've been following that one lately, and although things didn't work out how I wanted, I'm glad that I had the courage and the passion to at least try. Hows things getting on with the Housing problems? Hope you are having a good day and that you aren't too bothered by thoughts going round in your head. I find that singing a song in my head sometimes snaps me out of a negative thinking cycle. Or making a concious effort to counteract any negative thoughts. You've mentioned Facebook a few time. I recently joined and its all a bit new to me! Its great to keep in touch with all the family - its the only way I know what my brother is up to!
Hi Shazrobo, how are you? I've decided to not follow my 'diet' whilst I'm on holiday, so I expect I'll be a bit heavier when I get back. I'm walking a lot though, so hopefully it won't be too bad. I'd love to be 14st, I'm 17st at the moment, down from 21.5st!! Hope you are having a nice day. I've been to France a few times, its really lovely and would definately recommend it for a holiday. How would you get there? Would a ferry be best - there is space to walk around then, instead of having to sit still for a few hours. Glad I'm not the only one who names cars!
Well done on the exercise class Meyore!! I love the positive tone in your post. It can be so hard to be positive and upbeat at first, but stick with it - its made such a huge difference in my life, and I hope it will with you too. What anniversay was it? Congratulations! We celebrate our anniversary on the 12th March, as we can't remember when we got together, so made up a date! It doesn't make it less special to celebrate on the 'wrong' day. Maybe you and OH could have a 'pretend' anniversary when he can get back?
Hi SFGlad you are enjoying walking. I went for a 2 mile walk around the City Walls today, it was cold but beautiful. There is something about walking that helps sort your thoughts out isn't there? I just want to say that no matter how much you eat, you aren't a pig, or greedy or anything else you might thing. A lot of people with depression use food as a way to cope, and if you do too, that doesn't make you a bad person. I'm a Compulsive Overeater, and I know the horrible feelings that overeating cause. Try not to dwell on that. If you try your hardest to stick to a healthy and sensible eating plan, you are doing brilliantly. It doesn't matter how many slip ups you have, if you keep trying you are a sucess. I know its hard not to think about it though. Do you think that removing the scales would help? What about seeing a dietician to get a healthy, balanced and structured eating plan sorted out? If you ever want to talk about overeating, dieting, weight or anything like that, I'm always around. I'm not 'abstinent' at the moment. I had almost 8 months without sugar/flour and a few other things, but decided to have a break while on holiday. I've had periods of 'control' but I don't think that that is healthy. I understand you missing it though, I do too. I find it difficult to strike a balance between eating too much and not enough. You said ' I can't remember much of school as it all passed in a blur of self harming and hating'. That is exactly how I felt. I was noticed at school, a lot. I was very attention seeking - I was hurting so much I would do anything to try and get people to help me.
Hey Meyore! What sort of gym do you go to? I got into the gym for a while, but haven't been in a long time. OH just started going back to the gym after a break of several years and picked up exactly where he left off, running miles on the treadmill! Some people eh!! Did the leg waxing go okay? I had it done once, but it was still a bit stubbly. Is that normal, or did I get a bad job? Hope the second day of your break is nice. By the way, is that you in your avatar?
Hi RainbowChild, nice to meet you. Glad to hear that you were okay yesterday. What did your OH feed you? My OH has cooked for me twice, egg on toast once and beans on toast the other time! Did you get out in the car today? You have made me want to go back to bed mentioning warm, safe and cozy duvets! I love bed, I would stay there all day if it was allowed.
Morning StephCan I ask why he is called snobbers? Our car is a She called 'Peggy'. We named her after her liscence plate.
Hi Katie, how are you today? Did you watch a film last night? I was so tired that I only managed to watch one episode of the Simpsons on DVD before I was fast asleep! I've not been to Plymouth for a long time, used to love it as a Kid. When will you go? Will you get the train? What are you upto today?
Thanks for keeping us topped up on Hugs QB. Are you giving yourself plenty too?
Hi Horace, how are you today? A 20% off voucher sounds great. Is the M&S food nice? The only thing I've eaten from there is Wedding Cake and the lovely bubbly chocolate they used to make. Mmmm. It is silly the lengths you have to go to to get help from the Benefits people isn't it.
How are you today RBK? Any more thoughts on this man friend? Make sure you keep us informed (especially me, I'm rather nosey). How is work at the moment?
Hello to all the regulars and lurkers out there. Hope everyone is as good as possible. How are things with your family Ethel? How are you Tiff? Have all the Tiff Chronicles been posted? I read a few, must go back and catch the latest one. How is work Badger, are things working out there? Did you go to the seaside? (Was it the seaside?) How is our Sazbo? Not seen many posts from you, hope thats because you are good busy! Hope our Lovely Miro is alright. I think of you often mate, its nice to see you posting occasionally. Where is Rose? I hope things are okay with you, sounds like there is a lot going on in your life at the moment. Make sure you are talking to people and getting support. Big shoutouts to the lovely Dawnylou (you okay?), the ever entertaining BMF, the caring ILGD and the super sweet Juno.
I'm a little tired today, so I'm off for a soak in the huge tub. Its absolutely huge, you can fit four people in it! I'm going to the capital Seoul tonight with OH and two guys he works with. I'll know the bus route then, so I can go to an AA meeting there tomorrow night. I've never been to a meeting on another continent! Its an English speaking meeting, but I don't know how many people will be there. I imagine it'll be very small, there are hardly any English speaking people here.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
