Thanks Rose, i'll reply to your PM a little later.

I just don't feel part of anything - here or in the real world :o

Ive been hearing about whats been going on with britney, i listen to the radio each day at work, sounds like she is really going through it atm, as are you, sometimes we can lead parallel lives to others.

Sometimes its hard to feel apart of anything, esp if you dont know where you are at yaself, but you will get there miro

I feel fragile today - didn't sleep till 5am. Not one drop of booze passed my lips more the pity. Like I said yesterday, the weather, this cold and lack of choice in decent rentals is getting me down, so any faults of my OH are showing.

I feel like getting away to some sunshine - I look at sunny places on the TV and think I am looking at another planet.

My dilemma about getting my own place

    £4-500 pm - flats
£6-700 pm - small places on estates/mostly attached.
£800 + - something reasonable but big enough for us all, so seems a waste for one.

In the past I used to be OK in attached properties but had so many bad experiences in the last 10 years that I am scared to live in one now. If I go for a place that is suitable spacewise, it is too big and too much to pay.

So it is a battle of being MSE and getting a really nice bigger place for us all to share and when you divide the rent, it is far less than one alone or getting something that will get me away for a while and paying a lot out.

Whatever makes you happier, or at the very least, more content.

I live in an old flat, but I live within my means despite getting very little money, which I have too and have learnt too whilst I pay off my debts. Yes, i'm very unhappy, but it would be worse if I didn't live within my means.

Do whatever makes you happy and if it means you have to lower your broadband package, meals out or whatever you spend money on, to live somewhere you feel safe and content, then do whatever it takes and with whoever it takes. (Apart from me, i'm taken...even if she is in hospital right now :o;) )

Thank you for your replies and you are right. I have been in this cycle for years. I can't talk to my mother, she would have me living next to her and under her control again.

I can't decide where to go. I don't know anyone or have a job. I know I could get one or do something if I didn't have this burden to bear. I don't know where to start.

What is the first thing I should do?

Squirrel away money is a good start, make plans even take the plunge and move to a different town. Never move back with parents. It can be easy to make friends by joining clubs etc and no doubt when you are back in work you'll get friendly with your colleagues.

If your son lives somewhere different and maybe not in the same town could you not go and live near him?

Spend more time on your own doing your own thing and all the time make plans - you can do this.

    Good luck CC.

Hiya hun  yes, we keep seeming to miss each other on here, but I'm ok. Felt very low during the week, but feeling happy and full of energy today for a change... but it probably won't last long!:D As our tiff would tell ya, i'm not usually awake at this time either! Should make the most of it.

Work's been really stressful, tbh rosie hun. But launch went really well, bosses very pleased (that's the main thing, innit lol!) and we've had good feedback too, so I guess all the hard work paid off in the end...

Sounds like you've been busy too. Hope you enjoy your meal out today.

    Much love,
    Sazza xxxxxxx

As silly as it sounds, Britney and I lead similar lives, but in totally different ways, if that doesn't sounds too Slovak :rotfl: I wish I could meet her and we could look after each other :D Although I don't want to meet her as she may be really horrible :o If that doesn't sound too Slovak too :D

Feels really weird as I only felt part of someone's life for a couple of years, and when they left the planet, it was back to normal again....and I feel not part of the world...it's almost as if I died when she did.

I shall reply to your PM later Rose, I have a few to do and intend to do so tonight.

Hope you are well and please be safe when you go out. I know that makes me sound old, but I hate clubs etc as full of dirty old men and even the young ones are slimy.

I know you can meet some okay people, but like life, trying to weed out the good ones from the bad ones, is a difficult job, especially when you've downed a few drops of poison!
