I have worked out that by going into work today whilst feeling awful I have earned an extra £150. Actually, it's slightly more than that because I wouldn't've got paid for today if I wasn't there and I haven't included that. But I picked up a lot of extra hours for the next 2 weeks, and someone else woulda taken them soon if I hadn't.
I also hope they appreciate it.
That sounds good, at least some compensation for going into work whilst not well - shows the men from the boysAn average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

That sounds annoying. I don't like anyone turning up unexpectedly, leave alone someone who messes you about.
I got thro today but didn't need my OH being a prat first thing. I am going to have a day off tomorrow and it will be Monday again, bliss!. Our son got a job, a temporary driver and installer which should be good.
I am in a position to get my own place to rent very soon (we have no choice but to leave and have choices) but worry about getting a place that might be noisy and live next to bullies. I haven't been terribly lucky with neighbours for a while, so would like to live away from them but anywhere quiet enough is massive and expensive. If I stay with my OH, it will justify the cost but he will ruin it. I can't win. My ideal is to get a place that isn't huge and in a quiet location.
The viewers who came were nice but I don't think they will buy the place. It seems very expensive and needs work doing to it.
I dealt with an annoying shop assistant today, once I am upset by my OH, I become a superb*tch. I don't like myself that way and although I got a result, I didn't like having to resort to it. It was also raining which also got me down.
Thinking of you Blinky:)
don't know what to advise re your OH, you have been together a long time, could you go for marriage counselling, might help you make your mind up regards your future. nobody should have to put up with being treated the way you are by him.
my place is a council house, and the neighbours are a bit noisy, not bullies tho, we never speak to each other, just send notes thru letter box when they start getting too loud, as i dont like confrontation. i like the area we are in, nice house, massive garden and drive, so staying put, but am considering getting the partion walls between mine and my neighbours house soundproofed. the money spent will be well worth it for the peace
big hugs

Harrr Ro Rittul Peepleez.....
Yep, the sun is shining, I've bathed & dressed already & I'm raring to go.......where shall I go.....somewhere where officialdom is excluded! I wish:D Nah, got ab-sol-loot-lee bucket-loads of domestic engineering to clear, so best get on with it.
Oh Tulip, now Greg's left Caz toowhat are we going to do for Saturday night eye-candy now:o .....Think I'll have to look at the new receptionist, but he's not a patch on Jack[Will Mellor played his usual lovable rogue till he got blown up on his wedding day!just in case you don't follow the prog;) ] I like Toby, but I'm old enough to be his mum, so that's just a 'protective' eye of course, & I'm warming to Big Mac!
I know it sounds silly being so involved with a particular show, but I've found that Cas & London's Burning have been helpful teaching aids when the offspring were younger. At the moment 'Abs'has called an unofficial work-to-rule amongst the nurses in his capacity as union rep. Bearing in mind that these programmes are based on fact, it's really shocking just how much "extra care" they are supposed to provide without either the proper training or insurance cover.
Sorry:o ....kinda went off on one there:p
Gotta go do some housework while the mood takes me, so TTFN & have as good a day as is possible.
Peaceful Minds folks. BMFx

Hi, hope you all don't mind me jumping in on your thread
Was just wondering if anyone knows anything about fluoxetine dosage?
I've been on 60mg for as long as I can remember and I'm not doing good lately. My big sister died in October so I know that I'm still grieving, but I hate the way I'm feeling - no motivation, no interest in anything and if I could I'd just sleep all day everyday.
I don't know whether maybe I need my dosage raised or if it's time to try something different (which terrifies me). I'm also on small dose of pericyizine (sp). Is 60mg the max for fluoxetine or can it go higher? I'm going to ring the docs tomorrow to try see my gp, but just wondered if any of you wonderful people have any ideas?
massive thanks in advance xxSome people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass0 -
hi karen welcome to the thread, no idea about fluoxetine dosage, as i haven't been on that one for a long time, when i was taking it, i had the worst side effects ever, even ended up crashing my car, cos i couldnt concentrate whilst on it

Hi Karen. So sorry to hear of your loss, and yes you will be understandably in grief.
As for meds, if there is one certainity with ad meds it is that everyones case is individual. The type and dosage that may work for you may be totally different than for others. Personally I take cipramil and have done for years and my dr sees me being on it long term because of my form of anxiety condition but on the internet etc you see people who've had a quarter of what I take for a short while and it doesn't agree with them in the slightest and they want it banned etc!
So the moral is - yes go to your GP and make a follow up appointment too so they can follow you through.
It may also be worth asking if they have a practice counsellor you could speak to.
The feelings you describe are classic depression. So pull up a chair and pop into the thread (a) for advice (b) for comfort and (c) for a giggle!
Take each day as it comes and set yourself little goals (my first goal each day is to get out of bed hehe!!) Why are mornings so hard?!
!!{hugs to all}}0 -
Hi all, spent today driving OH back to Weston. Wish he didn't have to go. I won't get to speak to him now until Friday as hes out on exercise all week. Hope it doesn't drag too much. Had a bit of a falling out with my mum today and I'm feeling pretty rubbish all in all. Very tired.
Hope everyone is doing ok today.
