Muffinbird is my bird called Muffin
I've also got Chuffinbird and Amybird. Chuffin has learnt that Muffin is hurt, and is being mean. Muffin usually beats up Chuffin, but now it's the other way round. Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Hey peeps. Feeling like my resolve is slipping today. Mum is worse if anything - we had no sleep last night.
Just as I was thinking I was on the road to recovery with my own stresses etc - this is just like an almighty nasty slap in the face from life.
Feel quite lonely and don't feel like crying but almost wish I could 0 -

I wish I could do pep talks like that lol :rotfl: I wouldn't say that - basically I am just a bolshy cow:D On a serious note, I used to be the Health & Safety Officer for Unison (am no longer a member of them because I had no support but thats another story), I know exactly where Gillette is coming from.
You wouldn't believe it but at one time I wouldn't say boo to a goose but then one of my bosses sent me on a personal development course for women called Springboard (the men's version is called Navigator). The course opened up something because now I can pontificate to rooms full of people and sometimes give them loads of flannel which funnily enough they listen to:rotfl: I must have done well on the course because I was invited back to be a guest speaker and mentor to the others (maybe now that I have gone up in the world and I let them know that they will ask me back).
Unfortunately I have too many skills and my new boss has offered me the job as not only her PA but the boss of the Birmingham office but I turned her down as I want to staY with the Events Team - maybe in a few years but now now. I love my new job too much:D
If anyone wants mentoring, I am a good listener and can give good advice.0 -

Hey Steph. We've had 3 docs visits now. Each time they just change the painkillers- the latest time (Weds) to quite a cocktail. But they make no difference
