Just a quick post on Christmas Eve to wish everyone the best possible day tomorrow, no matter how many people you are sharing or not sharing it with and how many of them you actually like or dislike!

A great deal of us will miss people even more tomorrow. I know I shall miss my partner and daughter greatly. It's strange, she'd be 17 now, but because she died when young, i'll always think of a little girl rather than a young adult.

The most important thing for me to remember, is that tomorrow is one day, and thinking of someone, doing a nice Christmas deed etc etc is nice, but there are 364/365 other days in the year as well and if people were as nice all year round, I think the world would be a better place.

The gifts I receive will be gratefully received, regardless of what they are and of what financial value they were purchased for (although anything with Britney on it will hold an extra special place in my heart! ) I've never understood people who get offended by items of low value. I know a few people like that and I tell them it's simple - take it or leave it, cos you aint getting anything else

I hope my flatmate likes what I have purchased and we will appreciate our Christmas dinner, which we will, as always, eat in the evening.

I will appreciate this year not waiting for someone to turn up like last year, only for them not to bother arriving. Much more relaxing.

Enjoy tomorrow the best you all can - I may even pop on - I likely will as me and my flatmate just relax - Music channels on TV, the odd TV Program - sky sports Xmas special is usually good, pop on the net, food, cats and just silliness. Yes I will miss my special people alot, but I treble my efforts to enjoy myself, for them and use the day as a celebration of things that mean something to me.

Merry christmas Miro might pop on tomorrow myself it will be just me and the boys and we eat about three with the queens speach,family tradition passed on from my mum.She will be in my thoughts to but i know she would want me to enjoy the day.

Hi everyone

I haven't posted on here for a while, been feeling very detached from everything, I am having good days though and I went out on my own today for 2 hours which is a huge deal for me. Sent my mum a basket of flowers so I was glad she liked them.

I'm going to concentrate on having a nice day with the family I am seeing, my OH and his family rather than thinking of how much I miss my mum all day. I'm gonig to go and see her early Jan.

Well I just wanted to say I hope you all have a really lovely, peaceful day tomorrow. Merry Christmas guys :xmastree:

Not much news here. I'm all on my own, first time ever on xmas eve and it feels very very weird.. I'm currently sitting in the dark so my neighbour will think I'm out and not come over as she usually does on xmas eve, I really don't feel like company, especially not bitter, judgemental company such as hers

Not sure how tomorrow will go but you all have a merry christmas, I'll be thinking of you xxxxxx

Well I cant believe its this time of year again. Where does the time go?

We have all had our ups and downs, and we all know the rollercoaster of life. But we all know here, that inside each one of us, a candle alights, and shines our spirits. We all have strenghth, and we all have love in our hearts, and that makes us all special in our own way.

I know i havent been about recently, but i have read the thread daily, yes i still keep an eye on you all. And i know alot have had a tough time of it lately , so i send out all huggles and love to you.

I was sent an email today by a friend from university, he know lives in the nederlands, but he sent me an email, and i thought it was lovely, so gonna share abit of it with you all.

"We've learnt a few things along the way:

• Grab every opportunity because you might not get another one. Don't fret over what you may have missed because today is the first day of the rest of your life.
• Life often throws you a "curve ball". We don't always have control over the things that happen to us. However, we do have full control over how we deal with them.

hi rose, how are you hun?
me and kids had our xmas dinner today for a change saves on all the stress of cooking on the big day, and makes more time to play with the kids tommorrow.
still getting texts off my ex, some rather nasty, then some apologising and telling me he loves me
anyway just turned mobile off and having a drink, before having early night , gotta sleep or santa wont come

Remind me never to work in retail at christmas time, we were at the store till 9 tonight doing the sale, omg lol.

went to my nanas grave before work too, have to admit i was a tad emotional, ok alot, but it made me feel slightly better, i know she lives on in me, people forever are telling me, and she will never be forgotten, coz the love i feel for her will never die

Ive had my ups and downs too atm, but im a determined little thing that i will get there in the end, im all full of a cold and etc, but nothin gonna ruin christmas, and then boxing day we play cammag, omg it has to be the roughest toughest game ever. :rotfl: so why do i play it? :rotfl:, last time i played i got a sore back, a bruised toe, and bruised ribs :rotfl:
