hi everyone
hope you dont mind me posting in this thread.i too suffer depression and have been on and off medication since i was in early 20s. i am not doing to bad at the mo but am finding it hard to get out of my pjs and doing something when i am not in work.its that time of year i suppose. when im not at work i just want to lounge around and sleep. no real enthusiasm.
any way hope you are all ok

Hi Gill,Welcome to the thread.It is hard to motivate ourselves when suffering from depression.I do think some peoples depresion worsens in the winter and i have noticed we have a lot of new members in the last month or so which speaks for itself.Everyone is welcome here and it can help to know other people are having similar symptons and problems.

I feel a bit better,my head feels like its stuffed with cotton wool :rotfl: I had some nice post today,my dvd of Harry Potter the Order of the Pheonix came today and its not released officially until Monday,I am well impressed.I just cancelled my order of Gone with the Wind at hmv online as their orders of it to me never arrived and they had to keep reordering copies that got lost and it was a hassle I didnt need ,I got a refund on it though from them yesterday of £3.99 and I ordered at play.com instead at £5.00 as I know it will arrive from play ok seeing as my Harry Potter dvd came fine this morning,I must say though after all the hassle with Hmv online I was worried I wouldnt get my Harry Potter dvd but thankfuly that came this morning

Hello everybody

Hope you're all having a lovely, positive weekend so far. BMF, you're right about the rain, it's wet and windy here, so I am staying in until it goes away!

Looked out of my window earlier and a MILLION (slight exaggeration ) motorbikes were going passed, it was great, don't really like motorbikes but it was good fun seeing all the people dressed up and stuff

I had a really good sleep last night :T I still don't have any motivation to do anything but I am going to try. Need to sort my stuff out to take to my mums on Monday.

Now forgive the profanity, but...

I hope we're all safe and sound.
I'm exhausted too peeps - tired ol' Tiffster!

As I try and find my way through the post jungle that is my MSE mail box, it strikes me that I keep saying I'll tell everyone what's been going on in Tiffworld and then never get to it!:rolleyes: So, advanced warning - I may actually get around to some of it tomorrow!:eek: And - wait for it.....
I may even get around to replying to some PMs!!!

I do so appreciate your kind messages guys, and I know there's a couple of peeps who asked for help and I'm sorry I haven't gotten to you yet. It's just been really crazy - can you use that word on a depression thread?!:rolleyes: - at Tiff Towers. It's no excuse I know, but I hope you know me well enough by now to know that I'm not an ignorant pusscat and that I luvs ya!

There's even a rumour that 'The Tiff Chronicles ~ Part 7', ([strike]copycat[/strike] - I mean, copyright me!), could appear within the near future!:eek:

:hello: Everyone,

I stayed in all morning as still feel unwell,I got dressed after lunch and manage to get a bit of air,chatted to a friend,then got a doughnut which I had for tea which was lovely I had got a magazine to read so i got into bed and read that,then I went to sleep as I was tired and just slept and slept I had to get some cold relief for colds and flu as I found some which were out of date which I couldnt use.

Tonight for me is Kylie Minogue night so I am watching lots of tv

Not watching the new Harry Potter dvd tonight as there is too much on tv to watch including casualty for once saturday nights tv is good

hi all
had a really good day today, got up early and had a snout around local carboot sale, didnt get a single bargain, but never mind there will be one another day.
we then went and had a look around a big christmas craft sale, didnt buy much, manly checking out the competition as i make cards and am hoping to start doing craft fairs very soon just got to believe im myself and that my cards are good enough and get some courage to do it.
