My favorite quick pick me up is Honeycomb with chocolate, a better equivalent to a Crunchie
Ingredients- 25g unsalted butter
- 200g caster sugar
- 4 tbsp golden syrup
- 1 tbsp Bicarbonate of soda
- 200g good quality milk chocolate
- 1-2 tsp vegetable oil
1. Grease a 20cm square tin with the butter.
2. Melt the sugar and golden syrup together in a heavy based pan over a low heat.
3. Increase the heat to medium and simmer for 3-4 minutes, until the mixture is thick and a dark caramel colour.
4. Remove from the heat and immediately whisk in the bicarbonate of soda so that the mixture froths up.
5. Pour into the tin and leave to set at room temperature for about 20-30 mins.
6. Grease a large sheet of foil with the vegetable oil.
7. Once set, bash the honeycomb into large shards/splinters.
8. Melt the chocolate in a microwave oven or in a bowl over a pan of simmering (not boiling) water.
9. Dip the shards of honeycomb into the melted chocolate and place them on a lightly oiled foil sheet.
10. Leave to set in the fridge for about 20 minutes.0 -
evening everyone
SF, you look gorgeous!! don't cut your hair cos it looks lovely
Soooooo we had the professionals meeting today.. 2 hours of various NHS and social services departments arguing about what they can't afford n blah blah.. upshot is that because both me and my mum have now refused to have her at home and the thing that's in place (forgot the name) but basically it's the kind of on demand help she needs is only available for over 18s, no supported accomodation unit is willing to risk taking her and so they are thinking about either designing a care package tailored specifically for her (uber expensive) orrrrrrr......... sending her to a place in Buckinghamshire, where she's been before. It's a mental health equivalent of an intensive care unit but they also have therapy programs etc and if she won't go willingly they will section her to go
Soo... really a mixture of emotions, on the one hand I feel a bit like cruella refusing to have her and guilty that I feel slightly relieved that it's being taken out of my hands and on the other hand I'm pleased to know that she is finally going to receive the care and treatment she needs.
Hope you're all fine xxxxxxxx☆ §ügÅr cØÅTëÐ pØï§Øn ☆

Thanks EthelYou have nothing to feel guilty for - you have done the best for your daughter, and if she can go somewhere that will get her the help and support she needs, then that might be best. x x

Ethel
Sounds like you are having a rough time at the moment.
I really hope things improve for you soon as you deserve a bit of a break!
As for Britney, the post natal depression is something i've thought of lots, yet no-one has even mentioned it.
Her 'family' have now moved to be by her side. The family who have taken this long and not even bothered to help her one bit and the mother who was on K-Fed's side in the custody battle.
If she was stronger, she'd realise kicking them into touch would be best, they are leeches. Her so called friends have just stood by and watch her get worse and worse.
Who needs enemies?
The girl is a long way from being well
Still, if only somehow she could bump into me :rotfl:0 -

It's very possible. She blames her parents for the way she is and always has done.
I just hope she gets better soon
Saw her new video for the 1st time on TV today on 2 music channels, so hopefully it will make it onto the others soon. Downloaded the album leak today and 2 or 3 songs are okay (inc the new single) but the rest is not great on 1st listen.
The new single is released on Nov 5th and i'm loving it. I have £40 in silver saved up so alot of that will go on numerous copies of it in 4 weeks time - I can't wait.
Seeing the video has made my day/week/month, so for once, i'm in a decent mood :j0 -
Hope everyone is doing fine :j
Most days I don't feel up to coming online, so when I do get here, there are numerous pages to go through. I go back as far as possible, but i'm no Tiff i'm afraid
Which may be a good thing as i'm sure she wears different clothes than meMaybe....
Here's to a good future for us all
