  • Hello all

Hope u r all ok. I am hoping that once today is over (many of you know why looking at my prev posts) I can start to feel bit better.

I have booked into the docs for today dont feel like I can wait until tomorrow and I have made a list of all my symptoms and how I feel. I have also made a positive decision to accept the help of ads if offered this time and hopefully by time counselling comes I will be starting to feel more positive.

I keep telling myself I just need to think more positive but easier said than done.

Gonna crack on with washing and tackle the mountain of ironing I have.

hiya... hopefully the doctor will be able to reassure you and do something helpful for you.. meantime be kind to yourself and do some things that you enjoy rather than what you feel you have to :)

    Hi all,

Sorry I haven't been posting too much lately.
Unfortunately I have been feeling quite down. I am off work on the sick as advised by my doctor and haven't really been feeling up to going anywhere or talking to anyone much.
I have been popping in every now and then to see how everyone is doing though (However I have been spending most of my time in the competition forum as it has ben keeping me busy and taking my mind off things a little) - I just haven't really felt up to actually posting in here. However I don't want to appear ignorant so thought I would just leave a teensy weensy post just so you all know I am still about and am thinking of you all x

    Hi all.

This seems like a tight knitted community, so apologies for the intrusion!

I've been depressed for a while now, but it has become worse in the last year. I've had lots going on and at this point in time, I truly hold my hands up and say I've had enough.

I went to the docs today and was prescribed with 20mg of Citalopram. As you can imagine, I've been researching like crazy this afternoon, but wondered if anyone had any experience of this particular anti depressant? I'd be most grateful for any thoughts.

Charlene I have been prescribed the exact same thing and exact same dosage.
I have only been taking these for a week and so as of yet I cannot see that they have made any difference at all.
But I am sleeping a lot, and I constantly yawn - which appears to be one of the side effects. How bizarre!
