forget it,posts removed, just don't see the point anymore, everyone posts in here about things in their life outside of this thread, wifes, hubbys, boyfriends, girlfriends, work,et c that affects their illness yet if i breach a subject that affected me then its not allowed, don't bring it up,forget it.I was sent a PM off the owner of the site saying his staff voted to boot me out
banned from a site i never ever posted on

I was going to reply first thing yesterday to your above post, but I had something I needed to take care of.
I'm not a mod here qb and I'm not telling anyone that they can't post - I'm not like that.
Yes, people do post about things in their lives outside of here that upsets them. That is not the point that I was making hun.
The point that I'm trying to make is that you are obviously in difficulty with whatever incidents there were.
It causes you great distress and I was trying to help you by pointing out that, to my knowledge, no-one here or on the other forum is insulting you.
I posted because I wanted to try and reach you to help you see that all this does is inflame your own health problems and that we have no control over things that were done or not done in the past.
My concern was that you appear to be accusing members of this thread of being part of it. Whether they are or not hun, that is what shouldn't be raised publicly, imho. If you have issues with MSE posters, there is the ability to pm them and discuss it, if you both wish to or to report any abuse to the Board Guide Glad.
People here are vulnerable and need support. It's not the place to bring up problems you may have with anyone here in public, in my humble opinion qb.

I was informed by the owner of the site that a vote had taken place to ban me
.But i have no choice,i can't post in the forum involved because they have banned me so i can't voice them in the forum involved and there are people in this thread "involved" as some are the ones that voted for me to be banned
I'm sorry you're in that position. As I said above qb, if you feel you have issues with posters here, pm them or report it. But please don't post such angry posts when really, it's between you and them. We're here to support each other- there should never be any cat-fights on here.
When I came back from my convalescence, there was an invitation to be a mod/Board Guide on the depression forum you refer to and I accepted as I want to help people - it's what I do. Personally, I am unaware of any issues with you and have not been asked to vote on anything.
I thought being able to post on here was part of that same "recovery"Don't we all "hold" onto things far too long?things that happenned in childhood, teenager, adult, physical and mental abuse that could happen 30 years ago, some even trivial as a child but have a big bearing 30 years later
Yes qb. But again, we should not make public any issues we may, or may not, have with fellow posters. It seemed you weren't looking for recovery qb from the way your voice 'sounded'. Yes, we do all hold onto things. And at some point hun, we all reach the time when we have to let go of things that do us more harm than good.
Why don't you contact the forum owner and discuss it with them hun?
But others air their grievances in here and like i say,i have not been able to view them in the site concerned
Where is my "slanging"? i'm sensitive also, but i got ALL the blame,i.e. banned
I do think you're very sensitive over this problem qb.
But we here can't change what happens on another forum hun.:o
The 'slanging' referred to would be where accusations are made of other posters. Nobody should do this imho, as it may make people upset and creates tension. I for one, won't fall into that trap. This is a place of calm and reason and support for people in distress and we're very lucky to have it.:money: :T :A
No but more importantly,if i deserved to be banned from said site then howcome Martin has'nt banned me?after all my posts where reported
Its their loss
Thankyou x
banned from a site i never ever posted on
I don't know anything about what happened qb.
I don't get involved in personal disputes which is why I didn't reply to your pms.:o
What Martin and the Board Guides do here has nothing to do with what happens on another forum hun surely?!
I can't change the past, but I can speak up for the people here and their public posts on this thread, none of which have put you down.
What happens personally in pms is beyond even Tiff qb - I can be of help here sometimes hun, (I hope), but I'm not ruddy clairvoyant!;)
Replying to you will probably fuel another angry response from you, which is not what I want.
I did not want to make an issue of this hun, I just offered friendly advice.
The reason I have replied publicly, is to hopefully reassure the people here that I try to be a nice person with nothing to hide, that there are many wonderful people here and that this is a precious place of support and not an arena for accusations IMHO.
I'm sorry you're in such a state qb.
I couldn't help but notice that you have removed your membership of the Tiff Appreciation Society (founded by flis and ethel!:o :A) from your signature hun, and replaced it with another message in the same colour I use to show my support for another forum.
You have every right to do this hun. It's perfectly okay.;)
I don't think I have done anything wrong, have I?
I'm sure nothing I can say will change the way you feel or think sadly.
I'm just sorry that you have such an urge to make your issues now seem personal against me. I hope people know me better than that.
Well, there are my thoughts qb, for what they're worth. Whereas I don't want to waste any more time on this topic hun, I do wish you nothing but good luck.
Much Love,
Tiff xxx"If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought." ~ by Peace Pilgrim.***'You just got Tiffed!'***0 -
Hi guys!:hello:
I just wanted to say sorry for posting the above and if I spoke out of turn. Maybe I should have kept my muzzle shut!:o
We have revisited this situation a number of times before and it's a no-win situation for anyone.:o
I'm sorry if I've put anyone off from posting. This place is a good and fair place - even when we don't agree necessarily. We accept different people's viewpoints with respect here.
You're wonderful people and imho, you should only judge this site by your own experiences.;)
Anyhooo, I gotta go guys.:o Be kind to yourselves.

I really hate having time off work. I get so bored. I just waste the days in bed. Yesterday I didn't even bother to shower or get dressed. Next week will be better though.
I've lost 7 lbs so far on my dietI should be a size 10 soon.
I received a letter yesterday from Bupa. I have an appointment on 25th Sept. I received another letter today informing me that the grant for housing that my social worker applied for on my behalf has been rejected

You OK Tiff... got a fur ball or summat?
Seriously tho, with everything you do for us on here, let alone carry on your personal life, I hope you take some of your own advice to make sure you have some "me" time.

RBK..might it be worth checking with Citizens Advice Bureau, cos sometimes they know a different way to claim than the social worker? May be able to help with other benefits you may not realise you are entitled to..........Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.
