11 hour call on my mobile

I got the shock of my life yesterday when I looked at my vodafone ebill. Instead of the £10.50 monthly package, the bill was over £120.00. I couldn't get a breakdown online because the site wasn't up, but eventually got it explained by an online customer service operator. My phone shows a call of over 11 hours through the night -a call that probably lasted less than a minute but wasn't terminated. I went to pieces when she told me. I can't sleep - my hands are shaking - I'm in a terrible state. Apparently someone from billing will ring me in 7-10 days, but my nerves and stomach aren't going to last out that long. I don't know what to do - or if there is anything i can do. I'm not even sure whether I have any question to ask you all.
Will vodafone help me with this can anyone tell me?

Can you remember hanging up the phone? Also what phone do you have and was it on charge at the time? x0

No, I don't remember hanging up. I don't remember finding it still connected on a call. It's a new phone - samsung galaxy S3 mini.:jI gave up jogging for health reasons; my thighs rubbed together and my knickers caught fire!0

It was quite a common thing back in the day when mobiles first came on the scene and a lot of people where caught out but I thought it had been 'fixed'0

You'll wait for Vodafone to call you back until hell freezes over. Most modern phones' batteries would give out much sooner than 11 hours on a call.
Contact the Vodafone WRT or you're sleepless nights will continue for the rest of your life before anyone else in the company shows any concern. See the Vodafone complaints thread as to the how.0 -
A galaxy battery woul never last that long even on charge.0

Another point, what does your call log say the duration of the call was?0

Quite so but the phone says it did make the call so either the battery was in exceptional shape
or it was more likely plugged into a charger.
