I don't think you'll get anywhere with trying to blame her speed - the fact remains that you turned into her path.[0

Youve pulled across her. How fast would they have to have been going to appear from out of veiw to to impact before you see them? Speed of light?
Be fair. You can only see as far ahead as the enviroment allows you to. Roads bend, other vehicles obscure your view etc
In the middle of the road turning right I had a clear view of the oncoming traffic. It was tea time and there were lots of vehicles. I watched a car in front of me turn and patiently awaited mine. I don't think you have to go quite that quickly to go the 50/100 yards required to become visible. I was in the middle of the road, with my indicator on.
Funny thing is I was coming back from an optician appointment who gave me 100% for my eyes lol Oh the irony!I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

Can you give a Google Street View link to this set of traffic lights. It would be interesting to be able to see how much distance there is between the lights and a bend in the road or anything else that would obscure your view.0 -

Is it fifty, a hundred or 200 yards? Youve claimed all three in the thread so far. And at what speed would they have had to been travelling at for you not to have seen them?? Speed of light or faster innit?0 -

It's rather quite on there. Think rush hour when I was there lol
I was in the middle (with the cars going straight on moving either side of me, and the other car originally in the middle of the road going in the opposite direction) If thats clear.I get what i want. TBH I'm crap at guessing distance's. Apologies.
And she was in a mini. Nippy little things according to my friend who has one :-)I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -
Looking at her angle, I can understand why she didn't see me. There was a few cars pulling off to take a right turn, from the angle of the road she would have had to pull left to go around them. Maybe I was hidden slightly. I can't recall what other cars were there, just the little maroon one as we were both in the centre togather waiting for a little bit as we pulled off in our intended directions within seconds of each other.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0

Are you kidding? There is a straight road for about half a mile before there is a curve in the road.
I know a crash can be a bit of a traumatic event, but I really think you are going to have to take 100% of the blame for this one. Hope you get it sorted out quickly and painlessly though.0 -

Fair enough. With it being full of cars as it was busy I didn't have as much of a clear view as the google street view.
I'm not trying to be an !!!!. I'm a careful driver, not a plonker in the road. I waited, saw nothing so turned. It might be wrong, but I can only recall what I remember seeing.I get what i want. A great sketch but sadly I think it was your fault. Maybe she was going too fast but the moment you crossed her right of way it became your responsibility.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0
