Does KADOE also apply for paper-based applications to DVLA data? Or only just for electronic applications?

If just for electronic then this PPC may not have even signed a KADOE contract.

True I guess. I'd still make the complaints though, he's clearly not a fit and proper person.

  • After finding out who this guy is, I asked for legal advice from a family member with relevant experience and he confirmed that the guy is a known thug/crook in the area and that the ticket he left on my windscreen contains a lot of false information, and that he'll help me with my appeal. I fully intend to take this to court if need be, and I'll most likely be complaining to whichever organisations are relevant.

I've gone from being on the verge of paying this last night, to gearing up for a fight if it goes that far. Thank you to everyone who's posted, you've been an invaluable resource - not just the sticked threads but the support from posters themselves that you're not in a hopeless situation. It can be very easy to feel bullied by these scheisters, and it's good to know that there are people willing to help and offer advice. Thank you!!!

I have just read all of the posts regarding your parking ticket from Autosec. I received two tickets from the same company within less than 24 hours on Saturday which I do not want to pay as the sign was not clearly visible and there was a clear sign saying I was parking in a pub car park which I was using. I just wanted to find out what the outcome of your case was, did you appeal successfully? Or ignore the fine?

    Thanks for any advise.

sazzle88 hasn't been on the forum since 28th February 2014, so resurrecting this relatively ancient thread is rather pointless.

Suggest you PM him/her, or if you want specific advice relating to your particular case from forum regulars, please start a new thread of your own.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    1. It's not a fine.

    2. What was confusing about the advice in the top sticky thread or have you missed it so far? The one that says 'newbies please read this first'!

    3. Appeal using the template in the NEWBIES sticky thread, top of the forum. Autosec are a small firm so I would send the appeal early, not wait for the first letter.

    4. If you don't know how to get to page one of a forum, see my signature below which tells you where to click above in the blue breadcrumb trail link.

    And sole trader or not.
That website is non compliant. Same issues that got Not so Smart banned.
    DVLA time i'd say.
