In a post-independence Scotland, on the Scottish BBC channels, the Highland Games become the new Olympics.0

But their would not be any Scottish BBC channels, or BT come to think of it, and I guess Sky would close down its Livingstone operations. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

ITV in Scotland = STV.
ITV in N.Ireland = UTV.
BBC in Scotland = SBC? Who knows?0 -
If it happens (Big if) it will first be interesting to see if there is a separate public service broadcaster for Scotland and how they choose to fund it. There might be an opportunity for the licence fee haters to move. As for receiving BBC from England it is received in France and the Netherlands, for example, so I don't think there is likely to be any problem in Scotland.0

Still, all a Scottish-only BBC would be able to do is broadcast 2 things:
Alex Salmond's mug 24/7
All programmes in Gaelic0 -
Gaelic Bread? Its the future.
Maybe they can buy up old episodes of Dr Findleys casebook. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
You'll still get Outer Heberdies Broadcasting Corporation...0
