by picking 4 Drivers that all got through to Q3 ....

which also included the driver that set the FASTEST LAP in each of Q1, Q2 and Q3 (which is POLE :j)

So I picked the winning driver and two in the top 10 But i didnt get my team in before the deadline so nill points. Oh well shall stick to my process of picking names of drivers I think sound good for the next one too

I was just about to send an email to the RSH GP Game technical team since I'd found several discrepancies between points shown when clicking on the links to the individual "components" scoring records ...

... and the "same" apparent points scored by the same drivers/constructors/engines when looking at the Australian GP RACE RESULT as shown here

I've been out most of the day and had not heard the latest news

Daniel Ricciardo disqualified from Australian Grand Prix

Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo has been excluded from the Australian Grand Prix after breaching fuel consumption rules.

So basically the displayed RACE RESULT (and "points") is "AS THEY FINISHED" ...

... but the actual points awarded is the UPDATED "CORRECTED" total after Daniel Ricciardo, his Red Bull and it's Renault Engine is DISQUALIFIED and removed from the race and placed LAST, ALL of these (Driver/Constructor/Engine) SCORING ZERO (yesterday's Qualifying points will still count)

I'm not sure if this "updating" has filtered through to everybody's team yet but IF you have Daniel Ricciardo in yours, then today's result is not as good as you may have first thought

.. BUT will be very good news for many others

because it means a McClaren 2nd & 3rd with Jenson now "on the podium"

Just found a team that contains Daniel Ricciardo and he STILL is showing as having 77 points

Now in theory this should ONLY be 20 (for yesterday's Qualifying)

as I read the rules he should NOT be scoring points for the 57 laps he completed today in the race


There appears to be 2 relevant bits ...

.. about "generally" REVERSING decisions after receiving or being given "wrong" information regarding results

and disqualification information being given before or after the "cut-off" time of 00:01am on the Tuesday following the race.

Given that the 19 races are divided into 4 periods, it seems to make sense to use your bonus race on the shorter period (ie the second one), in order to maximise your chances of hitting the £5 threshold for that period. Have I got that right?

How do we find out the shorter races, can we change things?

i made 270 on my race, i dunno if that is good, dont know much about this, im just along for the ride.
