Lovefilm change to AmazonVideo

Hi does anyone know much about the change of LoveFilm to an Amazon Video service? (I know not exact name). It seems like an absolute nightmare! for starts it says you can only access 15,000 titles. I'm sure it used to be more on Love Film. You cannot see you past history- I used LoveFilm yesterday so should be there still. Series I was watching have vanished.
If anyone has any idea how to use the service please advise. I've scheduled for it to cancel just in case can't get it to work, can always reinstate if I can.

Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

It appears now to be called Amazon Prime (instant video) and has been cleverly linked to their Prime next day delivery service.
LOVEFiLM appears now to be just the postal service.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
I have Lovefilm by Post (3 discs) and unlimited Instant.
Now instead of one payment £13.27, it's now split into 2 payments:
£7.28 - Postal
£5.99 - Amazon Prime Video
Really dislike the layout site though.0 -

I've no idea why you've cancelled "just in case", as it's obviously in the company's interests to make it work for new and existing customers. Contact Prime Instant video's help desk.

I cancelled as my subscription renews tomorrow- so if not satisfactory won't get charged. If I can sort it I can easily renew. I read the article on streaming prior to sending this post. It doesn't address why now only 15,000 items. It does seem that they have added charges to a lot of videos.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. You can renew if the package you are currently on is still going to be offered, might want to check it is not going to cost you more.0 -
I only pay £4.99 for Lovefilm and will be a bit peeved if Amazon put the price up because they have changed the name!!0

I signed up for 30 days free Prime trial as I needed some goods quickly off Amazon. Amazon Prime/Lovefilm streaming is not as good as Netflix but I am considering it at £49 for the year.0

Lovefilm Instant will continue at £5.99/month, but is now called Prime Instant Video. Why do you currently only pay £4.99?I only pay £4.99 for Lovefilm and will be a bit peeved if Amazon put the price up because they have changed the name!!
There is no indication that the price of the standalone service will increase because they still have to remain competitive with rivals.0 -
I've been paying £4.99 a month for Love Film for the last 6 months. Didn't realise it was going up in price to £5.99.0
