Yeah, it's a good deal for people who already use both services. I remain unconvinced of the value of Prime, however. Since I don't order that much from Amazon in the first place, it's cheaper to pay the individual postage (or use free Supersaver).

but everyone kept to the price they were already paying.

so as long as you dont change the service, it will most likly stay at 4.99 for you.

similar things have happened in the past too with price changes.
i've had lovefilm for years and been through several price changes and never forced onto a different price, at one point i even had 4 disc rentals at a time (3 is the maximum)
