"Our combined shareholding is 100%", ok great, everything looking good.

Obtain accountants letter, shareholding is only 60% combined, mortgage unaffordable.

A user rather than broker issue.

I've just worked out I've opened twenty new threads in my six years on here. That's in about 36,000 posts.

Why is it necessary for some users to open as many threads in one forum in one month?

As a PePiPoo member (http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?) where we help people with motoring offence issues there there is a one case, one thread rule.

Why can't we have 'one purchase/mortgage, one thread' on here? Instead of this diarrhoea, where every question which comes to mind is allowed to result in another thread we all have to address/answer?

It does help people searching for a particular lenders attitude, if posts about one lender are contained in a single thread. In fact there was a suggestion raised that each lender should have one thread for general discusssion on their views. How do you feel that would work?

I am happy to merge posts if one poster is being a bit too excessive in thread opening - do point them out and I will do my best to sweep them all together.

I very nearly made a comment earlier on a thread which I think your post is about. I completely agree, especially in the case where the person making so many threads has a broker working for them.

I dont think a category for each lender will work as most people are asking if they can get a mortgage in their circumstances. Which would not fit in to any particular lenders category.

A single lender thread would end up with thousand of posts and probably make it difficult to find issues once they drop down a couple of pages.

I think a single thread for each mortgage/house purchase is a great idea as we can see how the case unfolds and don't have to look back through a posting history to try to establish what has gone before.

I do think that is a good idea as it is difficult to remember peoples usernames and I tend to answer based on the thread rather than any historic threads which can mean the answer goes from Yes to no or vice versa.

I can't finish anything and move on today.

Every time I think I've done what they want they come back for another bite at the cherry.

Not in a proceedable position, but can we do £350,000 purchase, £245,000 purchase, deposit of £50,000, deposit of £40,000, 15 years, 20 years...?

It seems people are trying to make all the mortgage decisions before they even sell their own. The worst thing is, we'll probably do it all again at least twice before we get to the application stage because they won't get as much for their current property, the one they want to buy will be more expensive, they want a different term...

Haha! I have used them for the first time also.
I have an email written out to tell them how !!!! they are. The staff are lovely but why do I need to speak to 3 people before a case even gets infront of a lender and then if there is an issue it reverts back to one of the previous people to resolve and then pass to back to the peron who originally passed it back...my head is spinning!

I've never used a packager for one case I wanted to use for another.
