    Less than £7.50 an hour.
I have gone beyond trying to explain to people now. There will always be someone who will do it for less in any walk of life. I would have been all over that fee free when starting out but now, I would rather leave the industry and stack shelves for a similar income but with a hell of a lot less stress.

Its things like that where when you get people offering to pay you more for getting them out of the proverbial you realise there are people who do appreciate the work you put in to the point where you dont need the ones who think you should work for peanuts.

    I've just done a 95% HTB-MG DIP with Halifax.

It failed and demanded corrective action to 90%.

    Did that and it's fine.

Client asks for HTB - EL instead and it's now passed at 95% of the 80% share this time.

    !!!!!!?

<pedantmodeon>If I read "advise" (the verb) on here when it should be "advice" (the noun), one more time, I'm going to explode.

Hm. I have an idea. Selective response.

Henceforth, if Lynne Truss would not be happy with the way the thread/post is constructed, I am not going to reply.<pedantmodeoff>

Because the previous 26 pages have probably been on the negative side, I wanted to balance this out....
    I dip'd a case on Tuesday AFTERNOON.
Today (Friday MORNING) it has gone to offer.

Thats 2 and a half days from Application to Offer! Its normally closer to 2 and a half weeks.

The legal work should all be done by next friday, with completion the week after, thats 19-20 days from application to completion with a normal mortgage. I think some bridging lenders would struggle to compete with that!

I had DIP Monday, rate reductions Tuesday. Applied for lower rate which somebody forgot to do! Valuation back Wednesday, offer today. Would have been yesterday if they had submitted the rate request!

Clients wouldn't have even had an appointment booked in branch by now.

Still we are all useless money hungry parasites who add no value to clients whatsoever!!

Completely agree, clients would not have even had an appointment in the time its taken to get the offer had they gone direct, but hey ho.

If i could have more like this I think I would turn my back on the adverse market.

You are all making me laugh. The frustrating life of brokers. The bank statements that show child benefit but no children declared as forgot! New car bought the day after AIP on HP.

I absolutely love my job even though I am so badly paid.
