Yep, I probably submit an average of 100 applications to Halifax a year and they're an absolute joy to work with.
I had one case that offered in two hours, at the end of last year...I am a mortgage adviser. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Skipton and their stupid website that keeps crashing.......grrrrrr
Santander and their stupid website that keeps crashing.
Clients that 'forget' to tell me about a change of name and adverse credit associated with that name to the tune of £xk CCJ's. I often wonder why I ask that question in my factfind!Grab life by the balls before it grabs you by the neck.0 -

Valuation done 14th and case offered 15th.
No strings pulled, or escalations. Just "normal" service. I presume the surveyor was already going to the site yesterday.
I love it when this happens.Grab life by the balls before it grabs you by the neck.0 -

For a bit of balance...
A Natwest case I submitted a while back needed further information (builders quotes - remortgage for home improvements). Information faxed 7th July, call to them on 10th and "we don't have access to the fax machine today so call back tomorrow"; call on 11th and they tell me they've "found the fax, it hasn't been uploaded on the system, we'll do it within the hour - call us on Monday to get confirmation that this is ok". Call today results in being told firstly that it was "uploaded on Monday" then that it was "uploaded Friday", and advised that the underwriter had passed it to his manager - but not sure when it was passed to them, today or yesterday. Unsure when we will have an update.
Gotta love Natwest.....not.I am a mortgage adviser. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
