  • I'm a complete newbie sorry, I read posts. It have never actually posted anything.
I too am in the same predicament I received a 'parking ticket' pre October 2012, and completely ignored all of their invoices and correspondence. I have now received a County Court Claim Form from Civil Enforcement Limited. It's from Northampton County Court and it just doesn't look quite right (not that I have ever received anything like this before) it's not printed out quite straight and googling the forms they look like they should be blue not peach? But on the other hand the post mark is from CCMCC, Salford which is making me think it's legit. I will call Northampton Court tomorrow to see if it's real.
I've got a lot going on and can't really be bothered to fight it, I've already written the cheque out :( just going to hold off sending it a couple of days. Any news on nach's claim form?
  • It is legitimate, put your cheque for gods sake

I will send you my email address for you to send the claim form to
I will then help you compile a defence, which will see CEL give up before a court hearing

I'm in the exact same position (alleged offence was in March 2012; have ignored all correspondence to date; received Claim Form from Northampton County Court this morning).

Looking over on Pepipoo, it seems as if a whole batch of these claims have just been issued by CEL.

Happy to receive any assistance (please!) - and will start my own thread if that's what's required.

Can you please create your own thread, we can't deal with 3 different small claims on one thread !
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Certainly, will do so. (Had only posted in thread as it seems that a batch of these Claims have just gone out, so there may be many people in the same boat).
