Maybe they've just not updated the £750 into the T&Cs for the credit card.

The wording says "at the time you enter into this agreement". You don't need to keep funding the current account. I haven't paid in anything (or even used) my Reward Account since at least six months ago but still keep getting the credit card fivers.

As long as you spend £300 you will get the reward.
