Hi All
I used to have a Halifax Credit Card called Clarity, whereby when you spent £300 per month, you received £5 credit on the next months statement. This based on you having a reward current account.
I closed this account a few years back and would like to open a new account -- Although I see a credit card called Clarify on the Halifax site, I don't see any £5 free offerings on this card.
Any know whether this is still available?
Regards
G.

No.
I applied online. I phoned them after receiving the card and it was confirmed that I would get the £5 reward as long as I satisfy the conditions. My first payment is due early March so yet to see the first reward payment.
See paragraph 11 of the T+Cs for the conditions of the reward payment.

I have just returned from extensive travel in US and OZ and used my Halifax Clarity Card for all major expenses which were considerable. The latest account arrived yesterday with payment due on 13th March, this extended credit plus near perfect exchange rates I reckon I have saved a lot of quids over the last month, nearly £1 every transaction. Thanks MSE for the advice.
If you get the £5 reward or not , if you use the card abroad for major expenses and repay in full obviously it is literally "money in the bank"0 -

Thanks for the reply. So what card did you apply for in order to get the £5? The Clarity?

Yes the Clarity.
The Clarity T+Cs, as linked in my above post, in paragraph 11 explain the conditions to be met in order to receive the £5 reward.
As far as I am aware there is no longer a separate "Clarity Reward" card.
There is only a Clarity card. If you meet the conditions you get the £5 payment.0 -
you can apply for the clarity card online, branch or over the phone, the fastest and easiest way is online. if you spend £300 in a month you should get the reward payment if this still exists.0

Thanks - All clear now! Thanks.....If I've help in anyway, please remember to thank me :-)0

Looks like you need to have/open an Ultimate Reward account at the time you get the Clarity. That specific term looks new.0
