As a student I was short of cash the other day. So i entered my details in wonga, sunny and paydayuk to see if i would get accepted. I got accepted but I did not complete the process/ i did not sign the contract.
I know this because I did not click the button, no money was debited into my account and also i received no email from any of these companies.
But for some bloody reason some company called click4pay has managed to take 70 pounds from my account, money which I was going to use for my driving test on wednesday.
I called my bank, I was told that wonga, sunny and paydayuk were all attempting to remove money from my account. Also that they have passed on my details other companies. Hence why I'm receiving a phone call/email every minute.,
who the hell are click4pay ltd, and how can i get my money back

There is no UK registered company known as click4pay ltd
The .co.uk domain, whilst current not displaying any website, says the "registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their address omitted from the WHOIS service"
Other familiar TLD with that name all seem to be registered in the US.
I suggest you contact your bank again asap and ask them to help you with this apparently unrecognised and unauthorised withdrawal.
I would say this transaction is not connected at all with your recent contact with several UK Payday Loan companies.
Edit: Btw, I thought you paid for a driving test when you booked it, not when you (may or may not) appear at the test centre. If you have a driving test booked for Wednesday, why isn't it already paid for? :huh:0 -

I've paid DSA already. But I have yet to my driving instructor on the day. The cost of that is approx 80pounds, [picking me up an hour before test, waiting at dsa centre with me, waiting for me to complete my test and also driving me back]0 -

My guess would be that it's http://www.click4pay.net/, which appears to be a payment processor.
I'd guess the OP has signed up with loan broker somewhere along the way. ≈GBP70 is their standard charge and the large number of phone calls the OP has received more-or-less confirms this.
Wonga, Sunny and PaydayUK appear to be genuine lenders, so I doubt the payment and phone calls are related to them. If it's genuinely an unauthorised payment, the OP should report it to their bank as such.
BTW, it seems odd that Wonga, Sunny and PaydayUK have attempted to take payments from the the OPs bank account without lending them any money.0 -

Ouch, have driving lessons really increased that much in cost? I remember paying £30 for the exact same thing, but when I gave my driving instructor the "Passed" paperwork, he removed the "L" from the roof and we went whizzing down the motorway for further tuition (at extra cost, but well worth it).0 -
@op, did you apply direct to those lenders or through a bloody brooker?Aqua Advance £ 9500 ( Settled ) | BC Platinum Card 25/25 £10500 | 24 studio £1950 | SimplyBe £1800 | Nationwide Flexplus A/C OD £800| Meaningless Noddles score= 3/50

Hi HP,
Did you apply to each site individually (I,e, go to their homepage and enter details) or was it a single site which mentioned them (I.e. a broker/3rd party)? It might be worth checking your browser history to get the exact url...
I'd also contact the lenders you mentioned to confirm that they are trying to obtain money from your account .

The answer to this may be simple. Which site did you give your debit card details to?0
-
How did click4pay get your bank account details?0
