  • A quick round-up for today.

    The good:
    • Home-made breakfast and lunch into work
    • Received a cheque for the second bit of freelance work - will lodge both cheques tomorrow. :j
    • Had my first Autumn Bliss raspberries of the season (one of the plants seems to be an early bird)
    • Courgettes are looking fab
    • Tea made from ingredients already in the house
    • Looks like the weather is going to be good on Sunday so a car boot is on the cards
    The bad:
    • In late to work so spent £1 on parking
    • Had to fill up the car, cost over 64 quid (wince)
    The ugly:
    • Trampoline is still not sold. :(

Thanks, Jwil. I should really be ashamed of myself at what I achieve when I compare it to all you do - and with baby Jwil to take care of as well. You are an inspiration. :T

    Aww thank you :o

I'm really rather lazy though, I could do much more if I could be bothered :D

  • Another flying visit - I am absolutely knackered these days so I am going to take myself off to bed.

    The good:
    • Lodged cheques for freelance work.
    • Got paid just over £6 from Quidco
    • Have sold a book on amazon
    • Am defo doing a car boot on Sunday
    • Have listed the trampoline on another couple of local sites
    • Breakfast, lunch and dinner all from food already in the house
    The bad:
    • Bought a large container of washing powder for a large sum of money from Mr A
    Night all. :)

    Hey p&f,

Sorry to hear you're so tired - hope you had a good rest.

Also sorry to hear about the trampoline...and after you cleaned it so nicely as well :p

Also, hope the weather improves for the car boot! x

Well, that's not so bad, I do that all the time. And I'm one of these very strange people that rather enjoys ironing, it's quite relaxing. I will add that I have a steam-generator iron which slides over the most crinkly creased things and makes them beautiful in a few seconds. :)

The most flying of flying visits today because it's late and I have to be up for the car boot.

    The good:
    • Two people are interested in my trampoline :j
    • Amazon book despatched and postage was lower than I expected
    • Massive amount of clothes and other goods ready for the car boot tomorrow
    • Some of my tomatoes are seriously considering turning red :D
    • The runner beans have reached the tops of their poles (I planted them rather late)
    The bad:
    • Spent a large sum of money buying tickets for an air show (but will get a lot of that back from the other people going)
Night again, will try to write in a bit more detail tomorrow and to post on all your diaries. :)
  • hope the carboot goes well

  • Another flying visit as I am more knackered than a very very knackered thing. :D

    The good:
    • Made over 80 quid at the car boot, even though there didn't seem to be as many people there as I would have expected.
    • Sold the trampoline - it has been dismantled, paid for and ready for collection. :j
    • Shifted a load of kids' clothes to a friend.
    • Lots of courgettes are ready to harvest.
    • Tomatoes are definitely turning red. :)
    The bad:
    • Just. So. Knackered.
Back with a proper update tomorrow when I can keep my eyes open. :)
