Bear in mind that the sun passes behind the Astra satellites in early March, which can cause signal loss for a few minutes in the late morning.

Is your bracket rusty? If so, your dish will wilt. New bracket needed.

I read about the new satellite when checking if anyone else was having a problem but it seemed to only effect other european countries.

Mine is all fine now. The engineer arrived on Monday and changed the sky+ box to a sky+ hd box and also replaced the dish. Reception is fine now, just hope it stays that way. With the new equipment the signal strength and quality is much better than it was. :)
