Be careful, this is a tactic used by people who are scouting round houses before they burgle them. They've seen what sort of people live there, what the house is like and probably the initial layout from when you opened the door. Might be worth being extra vigilant for a while
Vigilant.....you haven't met my OH. He has chronic PTSD with hyper vigilance. it's just not possible to be any more vigilantI'm not making fun of his condition, I just have to try and be light hearted about it......it's the only way I stay sane.
It's a really good point though and a warning for us all to heed. thank you :A0 -
Your post was directly aimed at me though , I posted you posted couple of posts later £50. Apg's now at least cot quoted my post before saying talking the !!!! ..
I never saw one !!!!!y post when people had £40 plus apg's when the Ariel glitch!! Or on previous glitches.
Do you really think multiple shops in store using apg's multiple times a day (breaking the 10 apg rule)buying exactly the same items go unnoticed.
My apg certainly wasent ment to be that big
I'm not gonna say I shop for one or 2items as I don't I pay £5 delivery before I even start adding shopping if I wanted one or two items it's cheaper to buy them In store..
DeeDee, I have not read back and have no time to (and I don't want to)...... but this issue is revisited frequently and regularly causes upset to people new to the thread without intention (and I have to say FC has not got a bad bone in her body). The Elite Elders are a wealth of information and know what works to keep everything glitchy, keeping under the radar is a key rule. They also know the impact with the supermarkets change their rules.
But we are all different, our own personal lines move in the sand often daily. I forget about glitching... as I am too nosey!
........ it is just part of the grey grey world we live in!100 -

Rhosynbach sending you a big hug. Feeling said for you.
I was thinking about Love to Shop's post and realise that MSE had made such a difference to many people including me. I joined in 2006 after oh heard about it on the radio. When we split in 2008 I wrote my story on here and got loads of support. I am now living on Carers allowance with some work for sis now and again. However thanks to MSE I can pay my bills every month and have a room full of stuff upstairs.
Love you all.0 -

as thats how i feel had a letter today 3 oldest grandchildren in care have gone to a new home. permanent foster care i am pleased for them and want them to be happy but we have been given dates to see them this year only 3 times for 2 hours, so we see them for 6 hours a year it seems hardly nothing. dont get me wrong i am happy and grateful that we can maintain some contact its better than none,
the baby will be adopted next month so we will not see him again but social sent me a photo of him and we are doing a scrap book for his file
i am feeling a bit selfish i want them to have a happy family life which is what they will have but i wanted to be part of that..
realised this sounded rather sad but it is not meant to be it is positive news for the kids and they are in a better place and being looked after now which is what they deserve
Sending you hugs..I don't know what to say apart from make the most of the precious time you get together which I'm sure you will xx

4 of them, very persistent, pitch black outside and completely ignoring no cold calling signs.
What are these charities thinking of employing people to do this and at this time of night?I know they need all the donations they can get but surely there has to better ways.
I have a lot of very elderly neighbours and can't imagine how frightened some of them must be greeted by a gang of very pushy people demanding their bank details late at night. scandalous!
Personally I would call the police out to check them out whether they are bona fide or not - especially if as you say the area has lots of elderly people living there0
