vanilla_twist wrote: »Not quite caught up yet but have question about Lovefilm/Amazon.
I noticed the other day that they seem to want me to pay for the things I want to watch. What is the point of the old lovefilm membership if they also want paying per programme or have I got to do something to activate?
I must admit I have found pollystreaming and have been watching the Walking Dead season 3. Strangely episode 8 is not available. Is this because of content as really strange.
I dont seem to be able to send pollystreaming to my sony tv which is annoying as having to watch on small screen.
Not technologically minded but I know a few here are. Any help would be appreciated. Its all aau1s fault for mentioning The Walking Dead in the first place:)

So I'm posting to warn others....dont buy milk a v t
:TThankyou for the medley info:T
I'm trying to find another post, but found this, from yesterday, and thought I'd reply to it.
I think what happens - and this is quiteto me - is that the price on t.com goes up to full price 24 hours, or possibly the evening, before it changes and then becomes the 'lower' price. Msm has picked up the £1.39 on that period (even though it may never have been £1.39 each when buying 3 instore in T - as the instore price is the 'old' price (£1.39 and 3 for £3) on the date when it looks like straight £1.39 was showing and the instore price the following day (when it actually went on £1 each instore and online) then appears online).
This seems to me to happen of routine with t.com, including when offers are 'merely' rolled-over. When this happens (Sunday nights a good time to spot this), it starts with the half price offer (for example), then goes (briefly?) to full price on t.com for a day or possibly just a late evening (the Sunday) and, when it is rolled over, then goes to the half price again the following day, thus (in my view) suggesting for readers of t.com on Sunday night that the product has been full price perhaps for all of the past week, and is only going on offer tomorrow, when in fact it's been on half price for a week or more already and the price is remaining (at that half price) unchanged. It will say, on the Sunday night, "Half price valid from .... (tomorrow) until (perhaps another week away)".
(itself an end time period that, compared to the true date the offer started, is much shorter and therefore arguably suggests to consumers that it is more time-limited than is in fact the case).
I suspect not many (if any) Trading Standards offices are open on Sunday nights to be able to monitor t.com during those times to see if the above is so.:question:0 -
