Thanks TM. I do genuinely think my Mum would like either suggestion (she does like a drop of wine) but once the wine is gone, you're stuck with a silly bag that you'd never use as a bag. At least the things I've bought she can keep (aside from the biccies). I think it's my sis who actually wants the wine handbag to be honest :rotfl:

Oh dear. The guy over the road is currently 'welcoming' a load of unseen people into his house. Having a good natter again.

Could you maybe get this for your sister instead? Explain you have got these things for mum so might as well use them, and you were planning to get the wine handbag for her? Might give you time to find a cheap way of getting one and will also use up your CC stuff?

I sympathise as my brother is the same. He leaves it to the last minute and then asks me what we should get. I have bought it at a fantastic price months earlier.

  • Well, I may have regained my mojo tonight?:T

Used 4 Dr Oetker vouchers - wouldn't scan. Asked if I wanted the pizzas taken back as they couldn't take the vouchers. I said 'put them through as I'll take them to CS to get them' Girl said she was CS. OK after 10 mins she said she'd put them through as non scan but only £2.79 each - after I said 'ring HO, these aren't fake & I've seen online that Tesco HO says they should be honoured.' What a pain!

Had a £4 off £30 spend so made sure I spent a few pence more than £30 and had 12 items, just in case! I reckon if I do this shop again (got another £4 off £30) with the £10PP then both shops are FREE! I like free! Plus at the end I should have another £10PP:T

    Is this true?

    I didnt know this

where does it say you cannot buy 1 item and claim from both sites?

I have been doing this all week and been paid out by both:eek:

ClickSnap and CheckoutSmart are operated by the same company but need separate registrations - however, I can only speak from experience having not realised their systems may be linked (I claimed from both before asking on here!) as I had the COS receipts rejected as a duplicate claim.

I did this last week, i got really paranoid for some reason, when i was leaving the house for work there was a car outside with 2 men and a woman in.
I got into my car and drove away, then got even more paranoid because i had not put my burgular alarm on and nobody was home, so i turned the car and went back home, went inside, put the alarm on then went back to my car and they were still sat there, so i tapped on the window and asked what they were sat there for and the driver gave me a booklet, they were johvous witnesses....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Quite often we have cars parking up and then blokes walk up and down our lane collecting wagon numbers as the railway line runs alongside. I am very tempered to ring the voice mail number for our local police officer and leave him a message with the reg number.
Technically its a neighbourhood watch area and yu are supposed to report any strange cars parked up :rotfl:
